So he doesn't know anything about baseball. He's old enough to have heard of Ron Luciano, and if he was a baseball fan should have read the books, "The Rise and Fall of The Roman Umpire", and "The Umpire Strikes Back", and how fans would get to the ball park and ask where Luciano was umpiring so they could get a seat near the show within a show. The Judge never paid much attention to EVERY retired umpire since the dawn of baseball retelling how of course they'd hold grudges and call a play depending upon the players involved. Not all the time, not even most of the time, but ballplayers and umpires have know this for about 150 years now.
That's okay. They teach lawyers never to ask questions you do not know the answer to, and they SHOULD also teach them never to make a comparison you've no clue about. Schumer or Biden is SURE to mention something about his ducking the high hard one, or blowing a call, or, "that question sure seemed to slide around you, eh, Judge", or, "didn't bring your seeing eye dog on that one, Judge?"and man did he give them more rope than necessary. NEVER, ever make yourself the point of ridicule, or the butt of even the most harmless of jokes if you want to be considered as a serious person, and yes, I know, he's a lawyer and what would he care about personal vilification but he's RUNNING for something, and sweet hobo on a pogo what a buffoon.
But after all is said and done, he's our buffoon. He's glib, he's smooth and he's comely or didn't you notice Feinstein crossing and uncrossing her legs like that. Kennedy too.
