So How's Tony Blair's Get-Tough-On-Terrorism Plan Doing?

I've been looking through Webster's Universal Encyclopedic Dictionary, 2224 pages, 10 lbs of words, and have yet to find any reference to "tough" or "tackle" that meets with the British definition as defined by such as this:

"ADVISERS appointed by Tony Blair after the London bombings are proposing to scrap the Jewish Holocaust Memorial Day because it is regarded as offensive to Muslims. They want to replace it with a Genocide Day that would recognise the mass murder of Muslims in Palestine, Chechnya and Bosnia as well as people of other faiths. The draft proposals have been prepared by committees appointed by Blair to tackle extremism...."

Tough indeed. Whew, those pugilistic, take-no-prisoners, ass-kicking, in-your-face Brits. Good on ya mates, THAT's tackling, THAT's getting tough, THAT'LL show 'em. When in doubt, insult the Jews and moslems the world over will include you in their prayers to allah.

So then, about this all-moslems-aren't-bad-guys deal, explain something to me okay; if it's only the wacky few who blow themselves up for that chance to virginize themselves for all eternity, then why insult Israel and the memory of those who died in WWII? It isn't going to stop the nuts, and the VAST MAJORITY of moslems don't harm anybody, so how is scrapping the Holocaust Memorial Day getting tough on terror?

Read more about it here:Andrew C. McCarthy on Tony Blair & War on Terror on National Review Online

PS: Still waiting for the Brit hurricane aid. Say, just between you and me, think they're worried it might "regarded as offensive to moslems"?
