“The Walmart Way” Not Sam’s Way An Associate View From Inside The Stores

by Julie Pierce ISBN: 1-4257-1209-6 (Trade Paperback) Pages: 185 Subject: SELF-HELP / Abuse

Trade Paperback $17.84

Description
Among the merchandise, files and customers at Walmart are the associates. The people who greet the customers and keep the shelves stocked. This book looks into the lives of the people this company will forever be connected to, like it or not. This is the warehouse, the truck driver and the system keeping count of it all. This is a written view from the inside. It takes an in depth look at associates, individual stores, salaried management and the corporate offices of this company listed on tickers of the New York Stock Exchange as wmt.

Okay I'm trying this for the upteenth time. Blogger must really hate Julie because whenever I try posting about the publication of her new book the system crashes.

I was fortunate to have read her work while she was in the process of putting everything together, and as a fellow Wal-Mart hater...that's probably too strong as I couldn't imagine Julie hating anything...I welcomed an insiders view of a company I came to know reasonably well.

This isn't about free trade, or being a conservative or liberal. My dismissal of these cretins as nothing close to human is derived from their total disdain for their customers and workers. Something you'll see fleshed out once you have a look at Julie's book.
