Latest caliber is the 45/70. No, I'm neither drunk nor is that a typo. A 45/70 in a 16 ounce gun. My penchant for shooting large caliber weapons notwithstanding, I would not fire this weapon barehanded. If I need a 300 grain bullet at 1100 fps I'll find the place on my person to stow a full sized .44 magnum thank you very much.
