This Weeks Self-Defense Specials

Submitted for your approval, the latest Kimber. Yes, that's a girls name loosely translated to mean look at that bush, it's on fire, but since losing their once vaunted quality control rep what have they got to lose by offering something else that when pointed at an assailant won't kill the guy.

"This advanced non-lethal self defense tool stops threats at a safe distance. Small, light and ergonomic, it carries easily in pocket or purse, and an integral clip also secures it to a belt. The outer body conforms to either a right or left-hand grip, and fits almost any size hand. Contains 2 cylinders full of OC (oleoresin capsicum). Effects last up to 45 minutes. $38.99."

Then there's this neat Walther P99QA for $539 from The Gun Source.

Decisions, decisions....

PS: The P99QA, which by the way needs some more letters and number in its name, is one of my favorite little guns to shoot even though I don't own one but hog a pals. The QA stands for "Quick-Action", as they try really really hard to get the same reset times as a custom GLOCK and almost succeed. Problems? A custom GLOCK still sells for relative peanuts and the gunshops believe Walther to be worth its weight in gold.
