(By Carol D. Leonnig, The Washington Post

The same "Undercover operative" whose face was plastered over every newspaper in the country, and not a few magazies as well? Oh. Damn but the Post just won't let this non-story fade away, will they. And what's this earthshattering NEW news? Same as the earthshattering old news. He might have mentioned her by name but doesn't recall doing so. And while he didn't break any laws in doing so, the fact that he doesn't remember is bad and "perjury in this context is itself a crime with national security implications."

What national security implications could they possibly be referring to? Somebody might have found out that Valerie used multi-colored staples? Stolen her rolodex and made copies of the names of head chefs in D.C.'s swankier restaurants?

When Libby beats these charges in court it'll be hilarious to watch the moonbats scurry to find a fall guy. And dollars to doughnuts they blame some poor schmuck of a prosecutor who knew beforehand that winning such a ridiculous case was impossible.
