I was taken aback when Mr. Fancy Schmancy shouted "A pox on both your houses!" as I was unaware that he knew of my summer home. I still don't know if they were light or plasma sabers but at the end of the day anything that gives off light can be called "light" I guess.
The science in Star Wars sucked but since when did Hollywood ever stop to think before cranking out stupidity/
Problem is, future weapon systems ALWAYS have to look cool but hiring writers who can turn cool into real means a guy named Lucas couldn't dream up the stuff in his spare time with the biggest thought focusing on how the thing is going to look on a lunch box.
But ya know what?
At the end of the day the light sabers made a man a billionaire and in Hollywood one is judged by his net worth and not his IQ.
And how about lightsabers, the light that stands still?
