Not All Of It Was Bad

Republican Charlie Crist beat Democrat Jim Davis to replace Jeb Bush as Florida's next governor. Considering south Florida's hispanic, meaning of course liberal, bent, and a great many retired seniors voting for Davis so that they might get free pony rides every other Tuesday, with of course all the ice cream they could eat as well as protection from all of those evil handguns that would have went the way of the Dodo, this is a good sign. Bush leaves office with a 60% approval rating and would have thoroughly trounced Davis, but Charlie did okay.

Republican Governor Charlie CristCrist won with a 53 percent to 45 percent margin meaning most Floridians remain somewhat sane. Two of the four targeted House seats did go to Democrats, but let's cut through the media's nonsense and get to the bottom line.

This midterm election was FAR from a resounding NO to conservatism. Every major moonbat proposition was defeated, meaning the public had little faith in some of the candidates but not the big picture.

Florida at least will remain a bastion of 2nd Amendment freedom, and I'll take all of the good news I can get this day.

Quite frankly, a great many of the Republicans who lost weren't men and women I'd have voted for except for the fact that they were calling themselves Conservatives.

Two years of a Democrat controlled House and we'll be more than ready to fix things in '08, as well as send RodHam down to a resounding defeat.

Jeb Bush in 2008?
