Barack-A-Babies Sing For Their Master

I was going to create a lengthy post about the latest Obama insult to all that is good, namely the "Dearest Leader" songfest from those adorable little kids who've been chosen to be brainwashed at the easiest age possible and well, lets just see what happens.

However, since the pedophile ghoul and his followers don't deserve the sweat off my brow, lets just say he sucks, and isn't it atrocious that these people strive to emulate North Korea, Iran, Iraq at its worst, and many a third-world country that thinks little children are fair game. At least these kids were the lucky ones. They weren't killed in the womb.

Here's the YouTube link if you've a strong enough stomach.

Buffalo's gun buyback program pulls in 720 weapons

A great-grandmother walked into the gun buyback event at True Bethel Baptist Church on Saturday with a long object wrapped in a dark trash bag and her teenage grandson at her side.

She handed the package to a police officer.

“Whoa,” he gasped under his breath as he unwrapped it. “AK.”

It was a civilian model AK-47, a semiautomatic assault rifle.

The woman said that about a year ago, a young man being chased by the police dropped it in her yard.

“I didn’t know what to do with it so I just kept it,” the woman said, declining to give her name. “I’m scared of these things. . . . I’m glad it’s gone.”

Assault weapons, such as the one the great-grandmother turned in, received the highest amount — $100. Handguns fetched $75, rifles and shotguns got $50 and nonworking

or antique guns as well as BB guns and starter pistols, $10.

Last year, at the first buyback, the city collected 878 guns, 599 of them functioning weapons. While 18 percent fewer guns were turned in this year, Brown said he was pleased with the results. He noted the first initiative was promoted for a longer period of time.

The weapons will be destroyed as part of the city’s “no questions asked” pledge during the gun buyback. No weapons will be tested to see if they were used in prior crimes.

Earlier Saturday, Brown kicked off the buyback at St. John Baptist Church on Goodell Street.

“There are too many guns on the streets of our city,” he said. “There have been too many senseless homicides, particularly among young people in the city.”

Police Commissioner H. Mc- Carthy Gipson encouraged citizens to participate.

“It’s good for the City of Buffalo. It’s good for the citizens. It’s good for our families. We never know: It prevents [the guns] from falling into undesirable hands and could potentially save a life.”

Brown, noting that one man turned in 13 functioning handguns, said if a burglar had raided the man’s house, there would have been more than a dozen illegal weapons on the streets. And Gipson noted the gun used to shoot Officer Patricia Parete, who was left paralyzed, had been stolen in a burglary years earlier.

Many studies conducted over the years suggest gun buy-backs aren’t effective in reducing crime and serve as little more than photo opportunities for politicians.

Brown disagreed.

“I don’t know what studies say but I know that in the City of Buffalo there have been 31 people killed by homicide [this year] . . . We want to do anything that we can, use any tactic, every strategy that we can to stop this senseless violence.”

Smooth attempt to duck the question, Mr. Mayor. You should have stopped with " I don't know what the studies say", and left it at that. At least you'd be, perhaps for the first time or in a long time, telling the truth. Buy-backs do next to nothing but get your name in the paper, and tell me this; if you had a record number of guns handed in last year, and your murder rate is at record levels and climbing, then what can you expect from this years program? 18% more homicides next year?

See, Mr. Mayor, none of it makes sense and statistics can be stretched and twisted to accommodate most anything you want them to . But the bottom line is that criminals aren't going to be the ones handing over their guns. In disarming the good guys, you make the bad guys safer, and level with me now, is that what you're really after?

Intruder dies in attempted sex attack

Indianapolis - "Metro Police say a father killed an intruder in his daughter's bedroom in an apparent act of self-defense.

According to police, 52-year-old David Meyers broke into a home in the 3500 block of West 79th Street early Sunday morning and entered the bedroom of a 17-year-old girl. He was carrying condoms, a rope and a knife, wearing nothing but a mask and a pair of latex gloves.

"He had come in, apparently, with the objective of raping her," IMPD Sgt. Matt Mount said.

She was screaming as her father ran into the bedroom and fought off the attacker. When police arrived, the father had his arm around the intruder's throat and was holding him.

"The father was able to get his arm around this guy's neck and throat and has him down on the ground. The mother calls 911, the police get there," Sgt. Mount described. "They tell the guy, 'Okay, you can let go of him now, we're here, we'll take care of this.' As he then releases his hold on him and putting the cuffs on him they realize he's unresponsive."

The call to 911 revealed how frantic the situation was.

"I am hiding. He had a thing over his head. I am too scared to take it off of him, he yelled at me when I tried. I think he was trying to do something because he had no clothes and all he had was the knife."

Meyers was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene.

Police say Meyers was a convicted sex offender, released from jail after serving half of his 20-year sentence. He was registered as a sex offender in Marion County.

"He had a warrant out for his arrest in Boone County, for failing to register," Sgt. Mount said.

For the past couple years, police say, Meyers had been living with his mother. Eyewitness News learned that home is just a few yards away from the scene of the invasion.

"The father, Robert McNally, the 64-year-old dad, when they get the mask off this guy, he realizes he knows this guy," Sgt. Mount said.

Investigators say Meyers had been in the house before. His uncle was the one renting it to the family.

"So he was familiar with the layout of the home. He had gotten in through a window of a room next to the bedroom of where the 17-year-old daughter was sleeping," Sgt. Mount said.

The case will be investigated as a homicide and it will be up to the prosecutor to decide whether to press charges.

"In a case like this, you're looking at what might be called a justifiable homicide. You're protecting your daughter," Sgt. Mount said. "He was not using unnecessary deadly force, he was doing everything he could just to restrain this man."

They simply cannot help but stutter when it comes to 'civilians' protecting one another, can they?"Might be called a justifiable homicide" is of course abject nonsense. Indiana had castle doctrine even before it was called castle doctrine, so it isn't as if Sgt. Mount throws in a waffle just to cover his ass.

Nitpicking? Sure is. I simply want to see law enforcement take a stand, and plant themselves squarely beside the people they've sworn to 'protect & defend'. No bullshit, no hemming with intent to haw. Enter a home uninvited and with malice aforethought then plan on being carried out on a covered gurney.

The List Of Obama's Dangerous Pals Gets Ever Longer

"IT would be tough to find an "on the ground" community organizer more closely tied to the subprime-mortgage fiasco than Madeline Talbott. And no one has been more supportive of Madeline Talbott than Barack Obama.

When Obama was just a budding community organizer in Chicago, Talbott was so impressed that she asked him to train her personal staff.

He returned to Chicago in the early '90s, just as Talbott was starting her pressure campaign on local banks. Chicago ACORN sought out Obama's legal services for a "motor voter" case and partnered with him on his 1992 "Project VOTE" registration drive.

In those years, he also conducted leadership-training seminars for ACORN's up-and-coming organizers. That is, Obama was training the army of ACORN organizers who participated in Madeline Talbott's drive against Chicago's banks.

More than that, Obama was funding them. As he rose to a leadership role at Chicago's Woods Fund, he became the most powerful voice on the foundation's board for supporting ACORN and other community organizers. In 1995, the Woods Fund substantially expanded its funding of community organizers - and Obama chaired the committee that urged and managed the shift.

That committee's report on strategies for funding groups like ACORN features all the key names in Obama's organizer network. The report quotes Talbott more than any other figure; Sandra Maxwell, Talbott's ACORN ally in the bank battle, was also among the organizers consulted.

MORE, the Obama-supervised Woods Fund report ac knowledges the problem of getting donors and foundations to contribute to radical groups like ACORN - whose confrontational tactics often scare off even liberal donors and foundations.

Indeed, the report brags about pulling the wool over the public's eye. The Woods Fund's claim to be "nonideological," it says, has "enabled the Trustees to make grants to organizations that use confrontational tactics against the business and government 'establishments' without undue risk of being criticized for partisanship."

Hmm. Radicalism disguised by a claim to be postideological. Sound familiar?

The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the intimidation tactics used by ACORN's Madeline Talbott in her pioneering efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts.

And, as the leader of another charity, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Obama channeled more funding Talbott's way - ostensibly for education projects but surely supportive of ACORN's overall efforts.

In return, Talbott proudly announced her support of Obama's first campaign for state Senate, saying, "We accept and respect him as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer."

IN short, to understand the roots of the subprime-mortgage crisis, look to ACORN's Madeline Talbott. And to see how Talbott was able to work her mischief, look to Barack Obama.

Then you'll truly know what community organizers do."

Alla that organizing has screwed us but good, now hasn't it. And forget the $750 billion, if the government is doing the paperwork that means it'll swell to over a trillion dollars without breaking a sweat.

We can toss money away like crazy, but never seem capable of fixing what's broke. As long as there remain unscrupulous cads like Talbott and Obama, there'll be financial emergencies and until we clean house the next housing bubble explosion is just around the corner.

When Rape Is Nothing More Than Misconduct

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) -- "A former police sergeant who is married to a television news anchor admitted in court Friday that he used his authority to have sexual contact with a 17-year-old girl.

Ex-Sgt. David Rodriguez pleaded guilty to official misconduct.

His wife, Darlene Rodriguez, did not accompany him to court, and was seen on WNBC-TV Friday morning.

After her husband was charged in March, she said, ``I'm here to support my husband. I believe in him. I love him. He's innocent 100 percent.''

Rodriguez was among the officers who arrested the girl's boyfriend on a domestic violence charge on Feb. 8. She claimed he returned later, alone and off-duty, and raped her.

Rodriguez replied ``yes'' when asked in court if he used his authority to go to the girl's home to have sexual contact with her. His attorney, Stephen Worth, told reporters afterward: ``There was never intercourse.''

``As we said all along this was never a rape case,'' said Worth.

He said Rodriguez resigned from the New Rochelle force last week.

Under the plea bargain, Rodriguez was given a one-year conditional discharge, which is similar to probation, and ordered to stay away from the teen for five years.

``Today Mr. Rodriguez did what was best for his family,'' said Worth, adding that the deal ``allows everyone to move on with their lives.''

Unless one happens to be the 17 year-old. Who was "persuaded" to have sexual contact with this dog, and shades of Bill Clinton and his it'd-be-funny-if-it-weren't-so-sick plea concerning the definition of sex. The wealthy, which is self-explanatory, and the powerful, such as members of law enforcement who are held to lower standards that continue to beggar explanation, have a certain degree of free reign (intentional sic) over the rest of us, despite the best intentions of our Founders.

Not much we can do about the rich & famous, except to refrain from contributing to that which spawned their celebrity, but for the love of Pete why are we tolerating such a constabulary?

Pirates capture vessal containing 33 Russian tanks...

MOSCOW — "A Russian warship on Friday rushed to intercept a Ukrainian vessel carrying 33 battle tanks and ammunition that was seized by pirates off the Horn of Africa — a bold hijacking that heightened fears about the surging piracy and high-seas terrorism.

Paul Cornish, the head of the international security program at the London-based think-tank Chatham House, said the tanks would be difficult to sell on to a third party — private buyers or warlords, for example — because of the logistics involved with keeping them operational.

"It's not like (stealing) a container full of machine guns, where all you need is a tin of bicycle oil," he said.

Roger Middleton, another Chatham House researcher, said it was unlikely the pirates knew there were tanks aboard the Faina, and he said unloading the cargo would be very difficult."

Ahh....

No.

Compared to modern armor, T-72's are obsolete junk, but part of the reason they're popular is like the other obsolete Russian junk the AK series long arm, parts are relatively cheap and easy to make and replace. In the US alone there are several dozen private shops that work on upgrading Russian and Chinese armaments, mostly for collectors and the like, and lets not forget organizations that could easily afford to order one, two, or many, for obvious reasons.

The parts alone...and let's not forget the ammo...could be worth a helluva lot more than the tanks themselves, and, as I write this, large police departments the country over are salivating at the thought of latching on to a T-72. You know they are.

Viggo's 8-Gauge

From the upcoming "Appaloosa" cowboy flick.

Didn't want to pay this movie any mind cuz the initial press releases made it sound like the lawman and his sidekick were auditioning for another Brokeback Mountain. Putting that aside for a moment, has anyone ever shot an 8-gauge?

I haven't. 10-bores up the ying-yang...damn, it's that bad Brokeback influence see what I mean...but no 8's.

How To Video: GLOCK Disassembly

His big fat fingers get in the way a lot and he's far too fond of the old hammer & chisel method of gunsmithing, but I've seen far worse.

Campus Newspaper Doesn't Even TRY To Get It Right...

"A Florida law went into effect this July that says employers can no longer bar employees from concealing a registered gun in their car."

The above is from the Flagler College Gargoyle. Trying to gauge local business response to the Preservation and Protection of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms in Motor Vehicles Act of 2008.

To begin with, these kids should understand that there is no gun registration in Florida. So, beginning a "journalistic" endeavor by committing a glaring error in the friggin first sentence gets them an "F". Not that publishing the truth is all that fashionable these days, but they should perhaps give it the old college try.

Obama Supporters Threaten To Prosecute Those Criticizing Mr. Moslem Jughead

"KMOV Channel 4’s TV newscast night before last at 6 PM had a story, that stated that St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, both Obama supporters, are implying that they will bring criminal libel charges against anyone who levels what turns out to be false criticisms of their chosen candidate for President."

Won't work. To prove libel of a public figure a jury must be convinced that the person doing the libeling did so with knowledge a forethought that he or she was in error. And besides, a simple stated opinion such as, let's say, Obama is a scurrilous scumdog unfit to empty wastebaskets where decent people live, is just that. A personal opinion. True as all shit, but still a personal opinion. The St. Louis county crooks, strike that, attorneys, might feel that to be a false criticism but who gives a rats ass anyway what these misfits feel.

CSI Detroit

Detroit Police Lab Is Closed After Audit Finds Serious Errors

DETROIT — "The Police Department here shut down its crime laboratory on Thursday after an audit uncovered serious errors in numerous cases. The audit said sloppy work had probably resulted in wrongful convictions, and officials expect a wave of appeals in cases that the laboratory processed.

The audit, conducted by the State Police, was initiated in May by Ella Bully-Cummings, the Detroit police chief at the time. Ms. Bully-Cummings, who retired this month, had halted firearms work at the laboratory after questions were raised about the handling of evidence in one of the city’s most notorious unsolved murder cases, the 2003 killing of an exotic dancer. The inspection found that the laboratory’s firearms unit was in compliance with just 42 percent of “essential standards,” which are criteria that fundamentally affect the outcome of work there. Accreditation requires 100 percent compliance. In addition, auditors re-examined 200 randomly selected shooting cases and found serious errors in 19. The laboratory handles about 1,800 shooting cases a year, they said."

Ah hell. Hows a little fudging the results gonna hurt. Detroit's crime rate is out of control...just have a look-see at the murder stats...so doing things right the first time around probably isn't possible what with the sheer volume of work. All across the world, pretty much the same sort of folks commit the same sort of crime so focus on them. Might not be a bad idea to go back to the old style of law enforcement where one didn't need a slew of geeks in lab coats to figure out whodunit.

Court Throws Out Lawsuit Over Philly Gun Laws

"Philadelphia officials cannot enact gun laws tougher than Pennsylvania's law, a state appeals court ruled Friday in throwing out city ordinances that included limiting gun purchases to one a month and banning assault weapons."

Good thing, too. I know lotsa folks in Philly, and not all of 'em can afford, or maybe just don't want to buy a gun a month. Might be a good idea to let the people decide how to exercise their Constitutional rights, ya think. And to shine a harsh but necessary light on the elephant in the room, just don't travel into the black sections of town if you prefer not to be killed, or robbed, or raped. Sooner or later they'll kill each other off, and once the smoke clears folks can go back to being Americans again and owning whatever the hell they want to own without mamby pamby apologists thinking they can resurrect a dying culture by feeding us to it.

Fact-Checking FactCheck.Org on Obama and Guns

Fact-Check, or Publicists For Barack Obama as they should be referred to, is taking gun owners to task for having the audacity to think Barack will disarm America, simply because, well, he's said so before.

Silly Americans. Before means BEFORE. As anyone is quite aware, only Republicans should be held to prior stances, and/or beliefs.

NRO summarizes here.

PS: Doesn't appear to be any truth to the rumor that Fact-Check is changing its name to Fast-Check in order to accommodate the serious infusion of funds from the Obama campaign. Which they'll probably use to donate even MORE thousands of dollars to the Brady Bunch. Didn't know they were BIG Brady backers? Do now.

UPDATE: We Get Letters

Question: "Why would everyone be lying? ...Why would Obama say one thing about guns one day then change his mind...?"

Answer: Because the simple fuck thought that he'd be swept into office in a landslide and wouldn't need any votes from gun owners, that's why. This makes him the worst sort of human detritus imaginable. Someone who wants to rule and can't even be honest about his own opinions. If he truly believes guns to be evil, then say so and forever shut the fuck up. I can respect a man's personal feelings, but never when he waffles just to up the vote ante.

Ed Freeman: November, 1927 - August 20, 2008

"MAJ Ed W. Freeman distinguished himself on Nov. 14, 1965, while serving with Company A, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division.

As a flight leader and second in command of a 16-helicopter lift unit, he supported a heavily engaged American infantry battalion at landing zone X-ray in Vietnams Ia Drang Valley. The infantry unit was almost out of ammunition, fighting off a relentless attack from a heavily armed enemy force. When the U.S. infantry commander closed the helicopter landing zone due to intense enemy fire, Freeman risked his own life by repeatedly flying his unarmed helicopter through a gauntlet of enemy fire to deliver ammunition, water and medical supplies to the besieged battalion.

After the pilots of medical-evacuation helicopters refused to fly into the area because of the intense enemy fire, Freeman flew 14 rescue missions, evacuating some 30 seriously wounded soldiers. All flights were made into a small emergency landing zone within 100 to 200 meters of the defensive perimeter where heavily committed units were perilously holding off the attacking elements.

Freeman's selfless acts of great valor, extraordinary perseverance and intrepidity were far above and beyond the call of duty or mission. He received the Medal of Honor for these actions."

Ed passed away August 20. The pictures are of Ed, and the MOH recipients who were at the White House to help honor him as he received the medal.

Messenger Science In The News: Mysterious New 'Dark Flow' Discovered in Space

"As if the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy weren't vexing enough, another baffling cosmic puzzle has been discovered.

Patches of matter in the universe seem to be moving at very high speeds and in a uniform direction that can't be explained by any of the known gravitational forces in the observable universe. Astronomers are calling the phenomenon "dark flow."

Vexing, hah. The universe is approximately 14 billion years old. Earth has been around for 4.5 billion years, and life as we know it took hold here half a billion years ago.

Those from Rio Linda, stay with me now; given the known facts, there conceivably could be life forms 10 billion years older than our own. That's a helluva good start. Just think of the technological advances we've made in the past hundred years or thereabouts, and imagine, well, try to imagine what our own technology would look like after billions of years.

Can't do it. No one can. That's why we attribute certain phenomena as being "natural", and have such a difficult time figuring it out. Might be it isn't natural at all. Might be that those "pieces of matter" hurtling at high speeds towards a particular direction are in fact a super race or races kicking the pedal to the metal. For...

Who knows. The older parts of the universe are where the perplexing activities can be detected. Wait a while. They'll be here soon enough. Just hope they're vegetarians.

Al Hates Coal Too

This is funny. The fat man asking his base...nuts, kooks, those who sleep in alleyways and die of the cold in summer, to be civilly disobedient. Even Obo the amazing jughead is all for clean burning coal, but I guess Al needs a new schtick, what with things cooling down and his global warming gig stalled.

Not linking to the story itself. Absolutely nothing of worth can be gleaned from this obese old charlatan.

THEY GAVE YOUR MORTGAGE TO A LESS QUALIFIED MINORITY

by Ann Coulter

"On MSNBC this week, Newsweek's Jonathan Alter tried to connect John McCain to the current financial disaster, saying: "If you remember the Keating Five scandal that (McCain) was a part of. ... He's really getting a free ride on the fact that he was in the middle of the last great financial scandal in our country."

McCain was "in the middle of" the Keating Five case in the sense that he was "exonerated." The lawyer for the Senate Ethics Committee wanted McCain removed from the investigation altogether, but, as The New York Times reported: "Sen. McCain was the only Republican embroiled in the affair, and Democrats on the panel would not release him."

So John McCain has been held hostage by both the Viet Cong and the Democrats.

Alter couldn't be expected to know that: As usual, he was lifting material directly from Kausfiles. What is unusual was that he was stealing a random thought sent in by Kausfiles' mother, who, the day before, had e-mailed: "It's time to bring up the Keating Five. Let McCain explain that scandal away."

The Senate Ethics Committee lawyer who investigated McCain already had explained that scandal away -- repeatedly. It was celebrated lawyer Robert Bennett, most famous for defending a certain horny hick president a few years ago.

In February this year, on Fox News' "Hannity and Colmes," Bennett said, for the eight billionth time:

"First, I should tell your listeners I'm a registered Democrat, so I'm not on (McCain's) side of a lot of issues. But I investigated John McCain for a year and a half, at least, when I was special counsel to the Senate Ethics Committee in the Keating Five. ... And if there is one thing I am absolutely confident of, it is John McCain is an honest man. I recommended to the Senate Ethics Committee that he be cut out of the case, that there was no evidence against him."

It's bad enough for Alter to be constantly ripping off Kausfiles. Now he's so devoid of his own ideas, he's ripping off the idle musings of Kausfiles' mother.

Even if McCain had been implicated in the Keating Five scandal -- and he wasn't -- that would still have absolutely nothing to do with the subprime mortgage crisis currently roiling the financial markets. This crisis was caused by political correctness being forced on the mortgage lending industry in the Clinton era.

Before the Democrats' affirmative action lending policies became an embarrassment, the Los Angeles Times reported that, starting in 1992, a majority-Democratic Congress "mandated that Fannie and Freddie increase their purchases of mortgages for low-income and medium-income borrowers. Operating under that requirement, Fannie Mae, in particular, has been aggressive and creative in stimulating minority gains."

Under Clinton, the entire federal government put massive pressure on banks to grant more mortgages to the poor and minorities. Clinton's secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Andrew Cuomo, investigated Fannie Mae for racial discrimination and proposed that 50 percent of Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's portfolio be made up of loans to low- to moderate-income borrowers by the year 2001.

Instead of looking at "outdated criteria," such as the mortgage applicant's credit history and ability to make a down payment, banks were encouraged to consider nontraditional measures of credit-worthiness, such as having a good jump shot or having a missing child named "Caylee."

Threatening lawsuits, Clinton's Federal Reserve demanded that banks treat welfare payments and unemployment benefits as valid income sources to qualify for a mortgage. That isn't a joke -- it's a fact. "

Was having the very same "discussion" the other day with a gentleman spouting democrat talking points and trying to finger McCain for culpability not only with regards to Keating, but global warming, the near destruction of the snail darter, and the end of the dinosaurs. He was not amused upon discovering that unlike most everyone else he'd preached this evil sermon to, IK happened to know a little about it.

Nothing pisses off a liberal more than someone who remembers the truth.

More On Where The Money Went

"The mortgage market was humming along just fine when, in the late 1980s, progressives decided that it needed to be "fixed." Their complaint: Some ethnic groups got approved for mortgages at lower rates than others.

In reality, mortgage lenders were simply being prudent - taking care to provide mortgages to those who could best afford to make the payments.

The shift began in 1989, when Congress amended the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act to force banks to collect racial data on mortgage applicants. By 1991, critics were using that data to paint lenders as racist by showing that minority applicants were approved at far lower rates. Banks were "Shamed By Publicity," as one 1993 New York Times headline put it.

In fact, they found a racial disparity only by ignoring relevant data on applicants' ability to make mortgage payments - such as their assets and credit history.

But the political pressure was intense - with few in politics or media eager to speak the truth. And then, in 1992, came a study from four researchers at the Boston Fed, which seemed to bear out the critics' contentions.

That study was, in fact, based on quite flawed data - but the authors' political, media and academic protectors stifled most serious criticism, smearing the reputation of one whistleblower and allowing the Boston authors to avoid answering serious academic challenges (mine included) to their work. Other studies with different conclusions were ignored.

The very next year, the Boston Fed announced new requirements for banks - rules that have now turned out to be monumentally catastrophic: Adopt "relaxed lending standards" or risk being labeled as racists, and face serious penalties under the federal Community Reinvestment Act."

Most of us have known for quite some time about these sort of handouts, the free monies given away by banks and lending institutions so as not to appear racist. When it came to private funding the only ones caring enough about where the cash went were those who were being swindled by the angry left and its legions of wealth redistribution socialists. But now its OUR tax dollars going towards bailout after bailout, and since we're supposed to be the ones in charge who is it that's standing up for us?

The media as a whole? Please now. Elected politicians? They can't make mention of the elephant in the room either. Were the NY Times to be anything CLOSE to the paper of record there'd be headline after headline blurting out the truth, the real truth, and nothing but the truth, and if John McCain were a Conservative Republican there'd still be a Republic to conserve.

Michelle Malkin: ILLEGAL ALIENS & THE MORTGAGE MESS

Now we know what community organizers really do...

"The Washington Post noted in 2005: "Hispanics, the nation's fastest-growing major ethnic or racial group, have been courted aggressively by real-estate agents, mortgage brokers and programs for first-time buyers that offer help with closing costs. Ads proclaim: "Sin verificacion de ingresos! Sin verificacion de documento!" - which loosely translates as, 'Income tax forms are not required, nor are immigration papers.' "

Fraudsters also have engaged in house-flipping rings using illegal aliens as straw buyers. Among many examples the FBI cites: a conspiracy in Las Vegas involving a former Nevada First Residential Mortgage Company branch manager who directed loan officers and processors in the origination of 233 fraudulent Federal Housing Authority loans valued at over $25 million. The defrauders made and submitted false employment and income documentation for borrowers; most were illegal immigrants from Mexico. To date, the FBI reported, "Fifty-eight loans with a total value of $6.2 million have gone into default, with a loss to the Housing and Urban Development Department of over $1.9 million."

It's the tip of the iceberg. Thanks to lax Bush admini- stration policies allowing illegal aliens to use "matricula consular cards" and taxpayer-identification numbers to open bank accounts, mortgage fraud has grown. Money-lenders still have no access to a verification system to check Social Security numbers before approving loans.

In an interview about rampant illegal-alien home-loan fraud, a spokeswoman for the US General Accounting Office told me five years ago: "Considering the size of Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston and other large cities throughout the United States known to be inundated with illegal aliens, I don't think the federal government is willing to expose this problem for financial reasons as well as for fear of political repercussions."

The chickens are coming home to roost. Law-abiding taxpayers are going to pay for it."

La Raza alone received millions of dollars to community organize their constituents on the finer points of defrauding the American people, so who knows what the final tab might come to. Makes one wonder how much those other minority bastions of evil, Sharpton and Jackson, have stolen from us.

This is no way to run a country, kids.

You Go, Tom

it expects what never was and never will be."

Chrysler Unveils Secret Electrics

Such as the Peapod. For, what time is it now, several decades, one car company or another has trotted out a fancy looking experimental vehicle, and to date nary a one has made it to showroom floors. They show us the Peapod and will most likely give us a clunky looking Jeep.

It has begun in earnest

Race to cost Obama at polls?

Since the only ones talking ethnicity are the democrats, it's fitting that they've enlisted the Yellowstream Media to step up the race-baiting as their floundering boy-blunder stutters his way to November. Blacks have been saying they'd vote for Obama just because he's black, so but of course the inference is that whites will shy away in droves.

Can't be simply because he has little to offer, now, can it?

Marines in Iraq Issued Laser Weapons

"U.S. Marines fighting in Iraq have been issued low-power laser weapons designed to temporarily blind enemy forces, the Washington Post reported Monday.

"Dazzlers," as they're called, shoot green beams designed to "warn or temporarily incapacitate individuals," according to a Defense Science Board report extensively quoted in the Post's story.

The Geneva Conventions ban weapons meant to cause permanent blindness, but a Pentagon spokesman explained two years ago that "Dazzlers" didn't fall into that category.

"They don't blind people," Army Lt. Col. Barry Venable told reporters. "It's like shining a big light in your eyes."

Of course they don't blind people. Sheesh. They create enough of a power surge through the optic nerve to kill people. Dead people are blind anyways.

Yankee Stadium: April 18, 1923, to September 21, 2008

33 years after this picture was taken back in April of '23, I saw my first Yankee game. May 10, 1956. A day after my birthday, as a gift from the old man. Too little to see over the standing and cheering tall men and figure out why they were all so excited, I was told by the old man that this kid named Mantle had just hit a home run off of a pitcher named, of all things, Lemon. I thought that was so funny. A man named Lemon.

He and his old man had make the trek to be at the opening of the new ballpark in the Bronx, but got stuck in traffic and were turned away, along with thousands of others, so they never got to be in the pictures like this one here. In their day you could stand on the field if you were polite enough not to interfere with the ballplayers, and who in their right mind would ever even think of such a thing.

The Yankees won a lot of regular season games, and about every third year or so on average would win the World Series too, so the ballpark became a famous place. They played their last game there last night, and will be moving across 161st Street to a new park next season. It isn't bigger, holds a few thousand less people actually, but its modern and has lots more places to sell beer and hotdogs and has a gazillion luxury boxes where corporations and rich people can go to sit in air conditioning and make believe they're watching baseball in person.

Sucks, but not really. The Yankee owners are far from the richest in baseball but spend the most money so they deserve to make a better return on such an investment. I just wish they could have figured out a way to do so without tearing the old place down.

Messenger Sunday Sports Spectacular

Everything You Ever Needed To Know About Pro Football

All NFL teams have slicker than snot running backs. Good defensive schemes stop even the best of modern backs, so when facing a team with an iffy quarterback the deal is to make him beat you, and not the slicker than snot running backs. Defenses stuff the line and since all the truly great backs are retired, bad ass quarterbacking gets exposed for what it is.

Cases in point:

What A QB CAN Do: Tampa Bay Bucs arrive in Chicago with of them iffy QB's. Brian Griese isn't cracking the top-20 of NFL signal callers unless the 25 men ahead of him pull up lame. The Bears know this to be true, and plan to stop Tampa's running game and stop it cold.

The Bucs only manage 46 yards on the ground, but Griese's coaches tell him to sling the damn pigskin and get them back into the game. Griese throws 67, that's sixty-seven, times for 407 yards and Tampa wins in overtime 27-24. The Bears stopped the run, but a traditional, not particularly gifted QB beat them by the being better at the basics.

What A QB Cannot Do: Oakland visits the Bills. Regardless of the ludicrous hype, Buffalo knows full well that no man will ever redefine the QB position so they too decide to stop the run and force the latest Redefining The Game quarterback, JaMarcus Russell, to beat them. As always, the position redefines the player, and while the Raiders can run for 97 yards they can only throw for 156 yards, and that isn't getting it done, not against Buffalo. Despite believing in the Quarterback Fairy, the Raiders still know a little about football, so they try the stuff-the-run-and-force-the-QB-to-beat-you scenario, too. Particularly because he isn't a REDEFINER, just a noodle-armed nobody.

What with so many defenders squaring up close to the line of scrimmage, Buffalo QB Edwards throws for 279 yards, and that opened the running game enough so that Buffalo RB's scooted to 109 yards. In other words, a reasonably well-balanced attack. Buffalo wins, 24-23.

Moral of the story: EVERY NFL team has to have at least a better than average QB if they want to go deep into the post season. Not a REDEFINER, just a pocket passer who can get out of his own way if need be. Teams that fall in love with game plans that worked in college never win in the big leagues, but each and every draft day there's another super-QB just itching to show the pros how its done, because hype can replace performance for a time and there's a sucker born every minute.

Football is a damned simple game and the teams that keep it simple win more often than not.

As Obama Selects Every Last Gun-Grabber On The Planet For His Administration...

Intended Consequences

Crocodiles enjoy gun-free Solomon Islands

Attempts to turn Solomon Islands into a gun-free society has had an unintended deadly side effect.

It's lead in part, to an increase in the number of fatal crocodile attacks.

Guns were banned on Solomon Islands following racial tensions and the arrival in 2003 of the Australian lead Regional Assistance Mission, RAMSI.

Solomon Islands Acting Police Commissioner, Peter Marshall, has told Radio Australia at least six people have been killed by crocodiles in the past 18 months.

"We have various reports from around the provinces in Solomon Islands... of crocodiles entering into locations where fishermen are present or where children are bathing or where families are bathing and the reports that we are getting is that the number of crocodiles is increasing," he said.

Yep. The Aussies weren't a' goin' if there were nasty guns around, so its back to the stone age for the poor folk who are now much lower on the food chain.

ANY group of people ruled by a Queen can expect the same. That's why we didn't want Hillary.

Homeowner shoots intruder

Police "Contain" Dwelling...For Safety's Sake

"An estranged husband who was shot after breaking into the home of his wife's male friend remained at University Hospital Thursday.

Robert Hunter, 50, was shot in the chest and arms with a 12-gauge shotgun after police say he broke into the home of Joe McIntosh on Wednesday night. West Valley Police Capt. Tom McLachlan said Hunter's injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

The incident began just before 9 p.m. near 3700 South and 6000 West. Hunter allegedly parked his truck a street away and walked to McIntosh's home. Hunter, who had been separated from his wife for several months, had been served divorce papers earlier that day, McLachlan said.

His estranged wife was in the house with McIntosh. Hunter went to the back sliding glass door, shattered the glass and entered the house, McLachlan said.

There had been previous incidents between Hunter and McIntosh, including some threats, McLachlan said.

"Those threats may have made (McIntosh) quite leery," he said.

McIntosh fired a shotgun at Hunter almost as soon as he entered. Hunter was hit and retreated. Investigators later learned that Hunter was carrying loaded 9 mm and .22-caliber handguns with him. Police said whether Hunter pointed his weapons at anyone, whether he fired a shot or whether McIntosh even knew he was armed, were all questions being addressed in the investigation."

Blah...blah...blah...

Irate "estranged"-husband arrives at another guy's home and takes some bird shot. He came packaging, and was sent packing. Then...and then the special people show up...

"Officers arriving at the scene weren't sure what had happened at first, and for safety they set up a containment of the area and had McIntosh and the woman come outside and surrender.

Hunter was found next to his truck, McLachlan said. He was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital.

McIntosh was not arrested. All three weapons involved in the incident were seized as evidence. McLachlan said the case would be screened by the Salt Lake District Attorney's Office to determine what charges to file, if any, and against whom they should be filed."

Utah desperately needs a Castle Doctrine, and NOW.

"Containment area" my ass. #1, anyone with half a brain knows you don't blame the other guy, if a woman wants out and finds someone else then that's life. Going to someone's home so armed isn't the brightest of ideas and who the hell are the police to...wait...

Only they know who they are. We once presumed they were around to help when necessary but not anymore. Now they take over and break the law at every turn, and ain't they lucky the homeowner didn't drop their sorry asses as well.

Contain this.

Man confronts burglar then shot by police

Reports of shots fired...

Police arrive in force...

Then shoot...

THE WRONG MAN

"When officers went in the house, (Sgt.) Thompson said they ordered everyone out and saw the armed homeowner coming down a hallway. That's when one officer, a 6 1/2-year veteran of the force, shot the 35-year-old man several times.

"We fire upon people when we believe there is a danger to ourselves or others," Thompson said. "So what exactly the officer was thinking, I would say yeah, that for him to fire he would have believed there was a danger, there was an imminent threat right there."

Thompson said the burglar's gun was recovered at the scene, but was not on the suspect himself. He was not sure how the homeowner gained the upper hand.

The suspect was identified as Angel Anastacio Canales, 27. Thompson said he was being held on one count of armed burglary, two counts of aggravated assault and weapons misconduct. He suffered unspecified leg wounds.

The officer who shot the resident was identified as Brian Lilly, 35. He's been placed on routine leave while the shooting is investigated.

A woman who answered the phone at the man's home and identified herself as his mother-in-law declined to comment."

Not ever having shot the wrong guy, I feel not a scintilla of empathy for the gunslinger with a badge. Luckily, if being gunned down like a dog by a trigger-happy cop can be called lucky, most officers are so very bad shots that the homeowner will probably survive. Part of the reason they are so prone to shoot first and ask questions later, is that they know they can't hit shit to begin with. Spray, pray, tag & bag the dead then send the innocent to the emergency room.

The reason Sgt. Thompson offers for this travesty is if they feel there's danger then its okay to kill people. If I, even here in gun-friendly Florida, were to shoot someone just on feel alone I'd be writing this from a cell.

Wait A Sec...

So now who's gonna defuse the bomb?

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - It wasn't the preferred way to enter the Knoxville Museum of Art, but Richard Anthony Smith told police he was on a mission. The 25-year-old Knoxville man called 911 from his cell phone before dawn Wednesday saying he was trapped in an air conditioning duct leading from the museum roof, Knoxville police spokesman Darrell DeBusk said.

Police and firefighters reached the roof, found a rope and cable and followed them to a vent shaft. Peering inside, they spotted Smith about 45 feet down.

"Mission failed," he told them.

Hoisted up and read his rights, Smith told police he was a "special agent from the United States Illuminati, badge number 0931" and had rappelled onto the museum from a helicopter, a police report said.

He said he was following orders to "defuse and confiscate" a Soviet-made nuclear warhead, specifically a "MERV6SS-22AN" warhead, according to the report. The bomb supposedly was hidden in a blue, plastic cow sculpture in the museum basement, he said.

However, Smith told officers his "agency" called while he was in air-vent limbo to say it made a mistake and the bomb might be in a Memphis museum instead.

Police charged Smith with aggravated robbery. He was being held on $2,000 bond at the Knox County Jail. Authorities said he did not have a lawyer.

Are You Ready For The...

...Palm Pistol

"The Palm Pistol is an ergonomically innovative single shot double action only defensive firearm chambered in 9mm that may be fired using either hand without regard to orientation of the stock. Suited for home defense, concealed carry or as a backup gun. It is also ideal for seniors, disabled or others who may have limited strength or manual dexterity. Using the thumb instead of the index finger for firing, it significantly reduces muzzle drift, one of the principle causes of inaccurate targeting. Point and shoot couldn’t be easier."

This is for real, gang. Click here for more.

Bobbies Hunt Gang That Frightened Motorists...

The yobs - who recorded the disturbing footage on mobile phone and posted it on YouTube - are seen laughing as one screams: "I kill you all!"

The clip, posted by someone with the user name fittysmiffy, takes place in a country road lined with luxury houses.

The 55-second video - said to have been taken in High Wycombe, Bucks - was spotted after YouTube vowed to ban videos featuring weapons.

The Google-owned site introduced the ban for the UK only amid widespread unease about gang violence on Britain's streets.

It said any video clearly "showing weapons with the aim of intimidation" will be taken down, and Home Secretary Jacqui Smith hailed the move as a "real step forward".

However, YouTube has pointed out that the ban is not retrospective, and videos like this one posted prior to the change will only be removed if reported now."

Mark these words; Next up for the shivering Brits is a ban on videos featuring pieces of steel with a sharp edge, lest they scare the ever loving shit out of those who are pretty much afraid of anything and everything that might be used as, or even looks to be, a weapon.

Va. town tries to prove existence of 'ghost cats'

BLACKSTONE, Va. - Like some other residents of this small town, Mary Elizabeth Goodwyn doesn't go outside after dark much anymore.

Goodwyn, 81, used to welcome the dusk under a red maple tree in her front yard every evening, but that was before cougars started showing up in Blackstone _ at least in the local newspaper.

Since 2003, the Courier-Record has run at least 15 stories on cougar sightings in town and in the neighboring 41,000-acre Army National Guard training base.

Wildlife officials say that except for a known population of 100 in Florida, the large cats _ also called mountain lions, pumas, panthers and the fitting "ghost cats" _ were wiped out in the eastern United States by 1900. They claim sightings most likely are cases of mistaken identity _ perhaps a bobcat, deer or even a Labrador retriever.

"The sense I get is there are a number of game commission people laughing, and that bothers me a bit because we've got good people here who aren't crazy," said Billy Coleburn, who as editor of the paper wrote most of the stories.

As mayor of the town of 3,700, he must also figure out a way to calm residents' fears.

After reading stories like this I just can't help believing that we're doomed.

What Do You Call 150 Moslems Fired For Wanting Special Bennies At Work...

...A Good Start

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - "A Somali-American leader says 150 Muslims have lost their jobs at a Grand Island, Neb., meatpacking plant that has been embroiled in a prayer dispute.

Mohamed Rage (RAYZH) with the Omaha Somali-American Community Organization says 80 workers were thrown out after an altercation late Thursday. He says when they tried to return for their shift Friday, they were fired, along with 70 others.

Union president Dan Hoppes describes what happened differently. He says 60 to 80 people quit Thursday, although he didn't know what happened Friday.

Officials with JBS Swift and Co. didn't return repeated phone messages Friday from The Associated Press.

The Muslim workers have been asking to be allowed to pray at sunset.

Rep. Rangel Calls Palin 'Disabled'

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Already under fire for his tax troubles, Manhattan Congressman Charles Rangel really put his foot in his mouth on Friday.

In a CBS 2 HD exclusive interview, Rep. Rangel called Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin "disabled."

The question was simple: Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity?

The answer was astonishing.

"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said.

That's right. The chairman of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee called Palin disabled -- even when CBS 2 HD called him on it.

CBS 2 HD: "You got to be kind to the disabled?"

Rangel: "Yes."

CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"

Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.

Republicans think Rangel's comments are insulting as well as shocking.

"Charlie Rangel's comments are clearly disgraceful," Rep. Peter King, R-Long Island, said. "This is just another liberal Democrat who can't accept an independent woman running for president."

King, who is co-chair of the McCain-Palin campaign in New York, watched Rangel's comments with CBS 2 HD. He was particularly upset because Palin's 4-month-old son, Trig, is disabled. He has Down's syndrome.

"We should be sensitive to her or any woman who has a child or family member who has any affliction at all," King said. "And so to use the word disabled in the context of a female candidate for vice president who has a child who is disabled really is wrong. Charlie owes her and the entire disabled community and apology."

Advocates for the disabled are also upset.

Rangel has long vied for the title of "Biggest Damned Idiot In Congress", and by Jove I think he's got it.

Firearms In The News...Rutger Company Debuts .99 Caliber

Gang members plead innocent

SALEM - "Three of the four suspected Lynn gang members who allegedly shot at a house on Pinkham Street in May during a drive-by shooting have pleaded innocent.

Two firearms, a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a .380 caliber Colt firearm were found inside the vehicle and another .99 caliber Rutger was found on Pinkham Street, police said."

Well, the cats out of the bag, folks. Rutger was hoping to keep their new semi-full-automatic revolver with self-loading clips a secret but no such luck. Too bad. Now they'll go and get Dirty Harry type popular, and there goes the suggested retail price, sky high. Nowhere near as high as a space shuttle the new gun can shoot down with one shot, though.

Thanks to The Smallest Minority for the link.

Police warn against allowing children to have fake guns

YONKERS - "Police are warning parents not to allow their children to carry fake handguns after two 13-year-old boys, one from New Rochelle and the other from the Bronx, were accused of using a toy while trying to rob a city man Sunday.

Holding up the gun equipped with a bullet clip at a news conference at police headquarters, Commissioner Edmund Hartnett said, "It looks like a very real gun."

Ah, Mr. Ed? What it looks like is a cheap toy, complete with the obligatory red tip. First you frightened little fella's demanded that all toy guns have a distinguishing characteristic to separate them from the real thing, and after the manufacturer's comply you STILL complain.

Is it so very terrible for someone other than law enforcement to have anything even remotely resembling a firearm, Mr. Ed?

I mean, c'mon Ed, get real. Why is it that when bad guys do something stupid you and your ilk take it out on the innocent.

And, Ed? Ain't no such a'thing as a "bullet-clip" for the semi-auto you're holding. Toy, or no toy. Called a MAGAZINE, Ed. Go look it up if you don't believe me, and next time please remember that we like our workers to have at least a passing fancy regarding attention to detail. If you simply cannot tell a red-tipped toy gun from a real gun, then at least brush up on the terminology.

Palm Beach Shop Owner Slays Robber

"Noel Nagi says he was ready to give the gun-toting would-be robber the cash - about $150. "Just don't do anything crazy. There's a baby."

Around the counter-top corner, Nagi's 7-month-old grandson was perched on his father's knee. His mother, Nagi's daughter, stood nearby.

"I don't give a f—," Nagi recalls the man saying as he pivoted and leveled the gun at the boy.

Then a customer pulled open the A1A Discount Beverage door. In a heartbeat, the gunman was distracted.

The father, Yamen Abdelfattah, handed off the infant to its mother. She rushed him to the closed office in two steps. The gunman's attention and weapon then returned to Nagi, the store's owner. And the babe's father, a gun-carrying veteran of the check-cashing business, pulled his weapon, rounded the corner and fired.

"Five, six times, I don't know. I've never shot someone," 29-year-old Abdelfattah said, retelling the story Monday morning from the very chair he and his son were in last night at the shop in suburban Lake Worth at 3747 Military Trail just south of 10th Avenue North.

"We believe the employees of the store got the upper hand on him," Palm Beach County Sheriff's Sgt. Rick McAfee said Sunday night, as investigators combed the scene - a man's body still lying inside the doorway, glass from the door shattered around him.

The robber was identified as Robert C. Martin, 35, of 2781 2nd Ave, North Lot 43, Lake Worth."

Yeah, first time can be a bitch. And a half. But old Bobby ain't going door-to-door stealing from decent folks anymore. And don't worry, Yamen, it gets easier. Next time be ready and try not to let the bad guy get a drop on you.

Basketball clown insults U.S. anthem

DALLAS (AP) - "The battered reputation of Josh Howard took another hit this week when an online video surfaced showing the Dallas Mavericks forward disrespecting the national anthem.

In a video posted on YouTube, Howard is shown on a football field at a charity flag football game. As the national anthem plays in the background, Howard approaches a camera and says: "'The Star Spangled Banner' is going on right now. I don't even celebrate that (expletive...most likely, "shit"). I'm black."

Ah, Josh, Josh. Can't respect a country that has turned an ill spoken, disrespectful, functional illiterate into a millionaire, now can you?

Good to know there's still the black version of the KKK alive and well. Your leader wouldn't by any chance have the initials B.O., would he?

Hollywood Loves IT'S Book-Banners

by Michelle Malkin

"EVER heard Hollywood liberals talk about suspected jihadists the way they talk of suspected GOP "book-banners"? The 9/11 attacks didn't turn celebrity leftists into hawks. But the minute they started reading false rumors about Sarah Palin restricting access to "Daddy's Roommate" and "Heather Has Two Mommies" in her hometown library, Tinseltown's doves became militant warmongers.

Matt Damon, parroting Internet lies about Palin's censoring novels while mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, took a defiant stand against the "terrifying possibility" of a McCain-Palin victory. "We can't have" book-banning, he inveighed.

Feminist playwright Eve Ensler ("The Vagina Monologues") seethed in a mass e-mail that Palin "has tried to ban books from the library, has a tendency to dispense with people who think independently. She cannot tolerate an environment of ambiguity and difference."

Classic projection. Da- mon, Ensler and the anti-censorship crusaders are the ones who can't tolerate independence, ambiguity and difference. The rumormongers keep spreading a bogus banned-book list attributed to Palin that includes books not even published when she was mayor. No city records corroborate reports that she tried to keep any books off government-funded library shelves available to children.

And even if she did inquire about the process, so what? Regulating age-appropriate content is only alarming to the civil-liberties extremists who oppose reasonable filtering of sexually explicit material in public spaces.

If book-banning is such a life-and-death issue to these celebrity foot soldiers for free speech, where were they four years ago when John Kerry and his rabid minions were pressuring Regnery Publishing to withdraw "Unfit for Command" from bookstores?

Where were they when members of the Borders Books Employee Union openly advocated sabotaging book sales? A message on the union's members-only Web site urged: "You guys don't actually HAVE to sell the thing!

"Just 'carelessly' hide the boxes, 'accidentally' drop them off pallets, 'forget' to stock the ones you have and then suggest a nice Al Franken or Michael Moore book as a substitute."

Where were they when left-wing hitman David Brock of Media Matters for America sent a demand letter to Wal-Mart, Amazon and Barnes & Noble urging them to pull "Unfit for Command"?

Where were they two years ago when two New Jersey Democrats, Assemblywomen Joan Quigley and Linda Stender, called on merchants to ban the sale of Ann Coulter's book "Godless" because of her remarks about anti-Bush 9/11 widows? "

Where were they in 2005, when University of North Carolina law professor Eric Muller called on his blog readers to get one of my books banned from a bookstore?

Where were they when J. Millard Burr and Robert O. Collins' "Alms for Jihad" was banned in Britain; Robert Spencer's "The Truth about Muhammad" was banned in Pakistan; and "The Jewel of Madina" was banned, well, everywhere?

And where are they now? Concocting horror stories about terrifying Christian bogeymen who threaten peace, tolerance, independent thought and difference. Patting themselves and each other on the backs as the valiant protectors of dissent. (But only the kind with which they agree, of course. Shhhhh.)"

Attacking a woman is easy. Right, Matty? Dissing a cult of terrorist thugs is scary. The likes of Sarah and Ann are fair game because they are civilized human beings, and neither one despises America.

Now, imagine taking the title of Al Franken's book about Limbaugh and changing the title to "Ted Kennedy Is A Big Fat Idiot".

Would the left laugh their collective asses off like we did? I'm a Rush listener, but had to admit that the title was hilarious. Humor, history, politics, hell, life itself, can be as interesting and entertaining as all get out. SHOULD BE, in fact.

Poor liberals. Missing half the fun because they're racist, and sexist, and anti-American.

FIDEL'S 35,000

...Somewhere...Bill Clinton Weeps

"FIDEL Castro
makes Wilt Chamberlain seem lame. While the NBA legend bragged he'd bedded 20,000 women, the Cuban dictator slept with 35,000, according to an upcoming documentary. "He slept with at least two women a day for more than four decades - one for lunch and one for supper. Sometimes he even ordered one for breakfast," an ex-Castro official named "Ramon" tells filmmaker Ian Halperin. "I don't think he would have stayed on as long as he did if not for all the incredible women he had access to as president." Castro's security would comb Havana beaches each day recruiting the hottest babes."

Actually, when you think about it, two or three a day seems tame for a dictator. Were Mel Brooks to portray Fidel in a Springtime For Castro comedy, the Cuban killer's boudoir would be wall-to-wall babes.

And I'm quite sure that all of these women went willingly. Yeah.

For Those Who Think China Only Poisons OUR Kids...

Chinese baby milk toll escalates

"More than 6,200 babies have fallen ill after drinking milk made from contaminated powder, Chinese Health Minister Chen Zhu has announced.

The figure is five times higher than previously announced.

Mr Chen said a third baby had now died - with the latest fatality occurring in the Zhejiang province of eastern China.

Chinese state television reported that the chemical melamine had been found in 22 brands of powder - not one as previously thought.

Mr Chen said a total of 6,244 infants were now sick, and that the number of those diagnosed with "acute kidney failure" had risen to 158."

Difficult to hide such goings on in the modern age of instantaneous communication, otherwise it'd be business as usual for the monstrosities running China. NOTHING will prevent nor even slow down their race to prove to the world that all other peoples are cultureless subhumans*, so whats the big deal about a few babies dying when compared to progress.

* DISCLAIMER: Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, most of Africa, and anyplace with a majority of voters registered as democrats happen to BE populated by subhumans so they don't count.

Texas High School Student Told Rosary Is 'Gang Symbol'

"A Texas teen claims she is forbidden from wearing a rosary around her neck in school because the Catholic prayer beads are a gang symbol, MyFOXDFW.com reported.

Tabitha Ruiz was stopped by security guards at Seagoville High School in Dallas last week and told to take off the silver and ruby beaded rosary, a gift from her mother. On Monday, the same thing happened when she again came to the school wearing the beads.

"I went to school, walked through the metal detectors and they told me to take it off," the teen said. "I asked them why and they said because it's gang-related."

Ruiz and her mother, Taire Ferguson, said they had no idea that rosary beads were a gang symbol. Police, however, are well aware.

"Lately they’ve been seen wearing religious jewelry such as the rosary worn by gang members, so it is a factor," Sr. Cpl Kevin Janse of the Dallas Police Department told the FOX affiliat

Listen, you unimaginably dense idiot, either she's a gang member or not. More than a billion people the world over consider a rosary to be a sacred religious symbol, so perhaps, just perhaps, mind you, it'd be a good idea to check on the young lady's reason for wearing the thing, and if nothing untoward arises then be happy you actually did your job, rather than kneejerk like some gestapo wannabe because a backwater principal says to.

By this line of reasoning, if gang members began wearing shiny badges to school then cops would be asked to take theirs off.

Moron.

Naked man walking dog Tasered by Tallahassee police

"A 40-year-old man walking his dog in the nude Friday night in northwest Tallahassee was Tasered by police when he became belligerent and refused to follow an officer’s commands."

COMMANDS, no less. Sheesh.

"An officer on patrol spotted the man about 8:15 p.m. in the 2200 block of Hartsfield Road, said Officer David McCranie of the Tallahassee Police Department.

When asked what he was doing, the man told the officer, “Allah told me to watch a Bruce Willis movie and walk the dog,” McCranie said.

“He was obviously having some sort of emotional distress,” he said. “It was unfortunate we had to use the Taser. … It was the only way we could subdue him without having to hurt him.”

Okay, enough is enough. To any and all members of law enforcement who want to learn how to subdue someone without "hurting them"...and its a good thing that tasers don't cause ANY harm...drop me an email and maybe we can schedule some sort of training.

Pretty soon, every mentally disabled person will have been tasered by the cops for one reason or another, and that's a shame. Guess we should be thankful they didn't find it necessary to shoot the dog.

Man who threatened to behead women will lose his eye, police say

Wow. The sentencing is getting tough, eh?

"Russell Bowman, who called himself an atheist, showed up with a large knife at the women's apartment in the 700 block of Tia Juana Street about 3:15 a.m., police said.

Another resident grabbed a shotgun and ordered him to put the knife down. When Bowman refused and began approaching, the person hit him with the butt end of the weapon, police said.

Doctors at Memorial Hospital reportedly told police the eye would have to be removed."

And they leave it up to the Docs, too?

Damn.

Guess they have a list of body parts to lop off should a felon arrive in the ER.

Sorry, Charlie...

But let's face it pally...you suck

Gibson's Obama interview:

  • How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
  • How does it feel to “win”?
  • How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?
  • Who will be your VP?
  • Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
  • Will you accept public finance?
  • What issues is your campaign about?
  • Will you visit Iraq?
  • Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
  • What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?

Gibson's Palin interview:

  • Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking?
  • Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?
  • Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
  • Questions about foreign policy
    -territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
    -NATO treaty
    -Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
    -Al Qaeda motivations
    -the Bush Doctrine
    -attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan
  • Is America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin]
The man -crush deal with journalists catching jungle fever one after another was bad enough, but to slobber all over Obo while calling out the nasty's on Sarah is just too twisted.

MR. WAFFLES TRIED TO STALL GI'S IRAQ WITHDRAWAL

Obama Insisted Iraq Wait Until New Administration Was In Office

"WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

Ah, but the longer our troops are in Iraq, and as long as there are casualty figures, he and his fellow lunatics can harp about the "illegal" war the Republicans brought upon us.

'Crazy hardhead' stays behind in Surfside

SURFSIDE BEACH — "Ray Wilkinson doesn't consider himself a hero for being the only Surfside Beach resident to ride out Hurricane Ike in his home.

Rather, the 67-year-old Marine Corps veteran considers himself to be the only one "stupid enough" to stay behind.

"I'm just a crazy, old hardhead," said Wilkinson, while sitting on the front porch of his Fort Velasco Boulevard apartment today. "I didn't say I had all my marbles."

The 30-year Surfside Beach resident said he watched the frenzy of Ike's arrival from the front porch of his upstairs apartment, which faces away from the beach.

"I just saw all kinds of goodies floating away, like my refrigerator downstairs," he said. "I watched automobiles floating by," like a Volvo that traveled for several blocks before ending up in a ditch.

Across the community, more than 90 homes were seriously damaged or destroyed as the storm pushed through.

On one home's screened, second-story deck that faced the water, a half-dozen potted plants seemed to have hardly lost a leaf. Just two blocks away, homes were ripped off their wooden pilings and crushed together. Still others were washed out to sea. A few were nearly obliterated and left in ruins on the shore.

Streets and yards remained partially under water this morning, and were littered with debris, from toilets and bicycles to paintings and children's toys.

A handful of cars were also submerged, including two that residents had to abandon after waters got to high to drive them out.

A curfew was in place and residents will not be allowed back in until at least Sunday, and only then after checking in and out with police. The beach town is without water and electricity.

Wilkinson said he always evacuated in the past, a task that became cumbersome over the years.

"I ran from Beulah, and it was the biggest mistake I ever made," he said, referring to the infamous storm of the late 1960s. "I'm tired of running from these damn things. If it's going to get you, it's going to get you."

The disabled carpenter, who survived colon cancer 30 years ago, had planned to leave the island with his next-door neighbor Friday because he has no car.

But when his neighbor left and couldn't return, Wilkinson dug in his heels to stay.

Police officers made a last-minute visit, trying to change his mind after the island's electrical power had been shut off, but Wilkinson turned them away.

"They parked right out in the middle of the road and asked me if I was ready to go. I said, 'no,' " he said.

Wilkinson, who served in the military from 1968 to 1974 and still wears a Marine Corps ring on his bandanna around his neck, expects he'll live out his years in Surfside Beach. "I love it," he said."

Sorry. After the hideous performance of the N.O. PD during Katrina, there isn't a man alive that can convince me that the police should have the slightest say in deciding who goes home and who does not.

Checking ID's to determine if one lives there simply has to be allowed, though begrudgingly, because letting looters roam free is out of the question, but "checking in" with the police is just a polite stab at saying they have the authority to say yes or no, something we've seen time and again.

So old Ray sat the thing out and survived none the worse for the wear. Good for him. He reminds me of my pal Hubie. Or U-B, I still don't know which, cuz I can't understand 90% of what he says but he's as straight a shooter as there is. Hubie doesn't carry his Marine ring on a bandana, though. Its firmly attached to headgear thats a cross between a stetson and a beret.
