Yeah; it WAS a .22
The 20-year-old Turkish Muslim immigrant who murdered five random people
in a Macy’s in a Burlington (WA) mall north of Seattle did so with a
very common .22 rifle had attempted to buy a handgun just hours before the shooting.
One look at the rifle in question led me to believe that it was a .22, but of course the cops and media described it as a "hunting-looking rifle" . Not that one cannot hunt with such a caliber. Squirrels. And small people if you keep pumping.
