The lady was truly lucky there were fat people around to save her. She does not belong on the street, and not to say take away her job, but meter-maiding is probably the better profession. Has nothing to do with her gender, as two out of shape male cops had their guns taken from them then executed just last year in NYC. By one perp no bigger than I. Yes, there are bad-guy versions of Shaquile O'Neill out there, kids, but this woman happened to come across just a fairly large specimen, as did the NYPD Detectives. Her, and their tactics sucked from the get-go.
Again; she got lucky. Wouldn't plan on it happening all the time. Ditch this affirmative action bullshit and send them to less strenuous tasks, but even that sucks because senior workers traditionally get their pick of the cushy jobs, so some guy who paid his dues is going to get fucked no matter how you look at it.
