Poll: Clinton lags in quest for male voters
WASHINGTON — More than eight in 10 Republicans and more than half the married men in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll say they definitely wouldn't vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton for president.
The poll provides an early snapshot of who's ruling out Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama, the three leading candidates for the Democratic nomination.
Ya know, for as much as I despise this beast, were she to have said "Hey, sure the debates are getting tougher but thats what its all about so bring it on," there'd be reason to presume that somewhere under that thieving, lying, ego maniacal veneer lurks a potential human being.
But how in all hells WOULD she or her campaign staff know what Republican men think? Or ANY man worthy of the name? The damsel in distress gig, strangely enough, only works for damsels.
Reminding men of their mother-in-law simply isn't going to cut it, but she's too far down that road, too entrenched in the persona she mistakenly assumed would work, and ANY change will bring out the beast in her opponents as they pummel her with more charges of timidity and flip-flopping
