Black Alabama political groups split presidential endorsements

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — "Alabama's major black political groups have split their endorsements for president, with the Alabama New South Coalition giving its support to Illinois Sen. Barack Obama on Saturday.

The Alabama Democratic Conference, the black wing of the state Democratic Party, endorsed New York Sen. Hillary Clinton in October.

Before the endorsement vote, Perry County Commissioner Albert Turner praised Obama's qualifications, but urged the group to support Clinton.

"The question you have to put forth to yourself is that whether or not in this racist country a black man named Obama — when we are shooting at Osama — can win the presidency of the United States?" Turner said."

"In this racist country."

Speak for yourself, pal. Barack Obama brings NOTHING to the table, EXCEPT for the fact that he's black, which in itself is about as racist as it gets. No experience, no ideas, nothing to offer the American people save for the hate-America-first approach that modern liberals...particularly black modern liberals such as Commissioner Turner...have espoused as the be-all, end-all approach to politics.

It is simply hilarious that in the single most open and free society in the world, hate-mongers such as Turner continue to beat the tired old drum of racism. Typical socialist nonsense. When in doubt, slide the race card from under your sleeve, and there WAS a time that'd win the hand but not any more. What truly racist society would coddle a group of people who comprise less than a 5th the population and commit half the crimes?

Despite what the democrats have done to the blacks, they as a group continue to support a political process that treats them as second-class citizens who cannot survive on merit alone, while referring to the the very people who want them to have every right enumerated by the Constitution as racists.

Can't make this stuff up. Try forming a group called the White Wing and see how far that gets you. Time was such racist terms were consigned to organizations with letters beginning with KKK.
