"Alleged", Part II

Man shoots alleged intruder in downtown condo

LONG BEACH - "A downtown Long Beach resident shot and killed an alleged intruder Friday after he saw a man attempting to climb into his condo through a window, authorities said Saturday.

Authorities responded to an incomplete 911 call in a condominium complex on the 200 block of West Seaside Way near The Pike at Rainbow Harbor at about 4:30 p.m., said Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Nancy Pratt.

When police arrived, they discovered a 21-year-old Long Beach man who had been fatally shot.

The resident of the condominium, a 26-year-old man, was in his home when he found a suspect entering his residence through a window, Pratt said. The resident, fearing for his life, armed himself and fired at the suspect, she said."

Yep. The upstanding citizen shoots to kill, no alleged about it, and as the thieving scumbag is innocent until proven guilty. Once again the benefit of the doubt goes by default to the thieving dead scumbag. This, however, is funny:

"In a stretch of units where residents said the shooting possibly occurred, a window of one of the first floor condos had an unusual "No Trespassing" sign:

"No Trespassing. Violators Will Be Shot. Survivors Will Be Shot Again."

WAY cool. Good job, Mr. Shooter.

Since no byline was given to the first story it is impossible to tell if it was written by the same sort of sob-sister as Miss Kelly who slap-dashed this one together. The author's gender doesn't matter, not really. They're all weepy women one way or another.
