CCW For A Florida "Winter"

When mid-January to late February temperatures are in the mid-40's but by early afternoon reach 70-75 or higher. This makes it somewhat reasonable to don a light jacket and carry a different gun. So the Glock 23 and 27 and Ruger .357's will be taking the winter off.

.44 magnum 300 grain controlled expansion jacketed hollowpoints at 1250 fps for street duty, and a 340 hardcast at 1300 fps for Alligator Alley. Ruger-only loads, as they are too long for Taurus or S&W.

And if Crazy Jay does manage to finagle those HST's from Federal and can dial up a 240 that'll give me 1450-1500 fps I do suppose I'll stop right there in the quest for a favorite self defense round.
