Wallace-Clinton Combat Draws Big Ratings
NEW YORK (AP) - "Political combat pays: "Fox News Sunday" drew its best ratings in nearly three years for this weekend's electric confrontation between former President Clinton and newsman Chris Wallace. Both men's words were being dissected in the aftermath on Monday, with a Clinton spokesman..."
Talk radio and blogdom has been all over this, and it's good to see Bubba shine this dimly before so wide an audience. I've said it before and it bears repeating; he was spawned from the same loon-hatchery as the Kennedy's and Kerry's of the world. The privileged kooks to whom the rules of life are but murky guidelines. They have just enough understanding of honor to know when they've done something wrong, and it's fun to see their response when they are called on the carpet and read the riot act. Supposedly, Clinton left the interview livid that his entourage didn't warn him of Chris Wallace's design to , gasp, ask a question or two that wasn't swaddled in fawning adoration.
Rules, after all, are for the little people, and how dare Wallace. With but 43% of the vote, the Clinton's strode into the White House TELLING us that they couldn't care less what we wanted, and to be prepared for a loss of liberty. Neither of them has the foggiest notion of what the electorate wants, because it's up to the higher class of person to tell the peasants what's good for them. HE DOESN'T CARE what we think of him. He DOES CARE that his grandiose legacy might be stained by some peon daring to question his master.
Moxie has a good take on the matter. Yes, lots of you did, but she's got better legs.
