"Armed with nuclear weapons," they would blackmail the free world, and spread their ideologies of hate, and raise a mortal threat to the American people. If we allow them to do this, if we retreat from Iraq, if we don't uphold our duty to support those who are desirous to live in liberty, 50 years from now history will look back on our time with unforgiving clarity, and demand to know why we did not act. I'm not going to allow this to happen - and no future American president can allow it either."
I wouldn't want to be a politician embroiled in this fiasco. The liberal media has convinced a large percentage of the American public that islam can be handled with diplomacy, and it's death to anyone seeking political office on a national level to do what really needs to be done. It's time, therefore, for a hero. Someone wishing to do the right thing with knowledge aforethought that one term is all he'll get. Someone to get tough with terrorists and the governments they hide behind. Someone who will lay level to North Korea's launching pads, and create a hole where Iran's primary nuclear facilities once stood. From Bush's tone, and reading between the lines I am imaging that some sort of strike against Iran is imminent. But he won't go the distance, not with the elections so close, not with the leftwing media ready to pounce and declare all conservatives to be war mongers.
There does not appear to be anyone on the horizon, a leader who will save us from the despicable islamic barbarians intent upon our destruciton. Woe is America.
