I count three "nahffs": the obvious one on the table, one man picking his teeth with one, and another man cutting a roll. There are twelve men in the picture. The redhead whose face you can't see is John, who dearly loves Jesus, and is hugging Him after His announcement of His upcoming crucifixion.

The number of men was a trick query. Even admirers of this painting continue to opine that the redhead is a woman. I wasn't there so I haven't a clue.
