May 6, 2006 -- After his second smash-up in three weeks - and a lot of unanswered questions about an alleged police cover-up - Rep. Patrick Kennedy yesterday declared that he's entering rehab to deal with an addiction to painkillers.
Those questions need to be answered.
Because not even a Kennedy should be above the law.
This was hardly the congressman's first such incident. And he was in rehab just last Christmas."

The only question needing an answer is why in the name of all holy hells people continue to send these scum to stand before Congress as their elected representatives.
The country is laden with multitides of drunks, killers, wife cheaters & beaters, some of them not even named Kennedy, and nothing these monstrosities do is newsworthy save for the family name. There IS no answer to people without morals, but there ought to be a reckoning for the dolts that empower them to break the law with impunity.
Forget sending the Kennedy's to rehab. Time and again that's been proven to be nothing more than a waste of time and resource.
Let's send the voters away to see if it teaches THEM any lessons about electing a Kennedy.
Give a drunk the keys to your car and you're just as guilty as he for whatever happens. Give a Kennedy an important task and you're ALSO as guilty when he fucks it beyond recognition.
Oh yeah, and as far as his not being able to remember what happened, hey, it worked for old Pop, didn't it? The man spent the night assembling friends to back his alibi then claimed that the wicked witch of the west must have dropped some magical potion in his milk, and all that's missing from the kid's rendition is the neck brace.
