Basketball: Rapping it's way to oblivion

Phil Mushnick from the NY Post:

"IT'S A fair question: Has everyone at Madison Square Garden, particularly the Knicks' "organization," gone nuts? Have they all lost their minds? Or have they just lost their way?
While the soot from the suit filed against The Garden and Knicks' President Isiah Thomas has not yet settled, the Garden and the Knicks yesterday hosted an after-school program starring Stephon Marbury, a person of considerable interest and intrigue in the lawsuit, and gangsta rapper Ja Rule. Violent, vile, women-trashing sewer-spewer of hate, Ja Rule.

It's simply unbelievable."

Nah, not unbelievable, Phil. It's what rakes in the cash. Porn is big business and porn-talkers are a guaranteed draw. The pendulum has swung about as far as it's going to and the backlash will be something to behold. If we could only get the loons on our side in promoting something resembling common decency, these women-hating mind rapists would already have been a distant memory.
