MOB GOES GAY IN NEW PLAY
WISEGUYS IN HEELS By STEVE DUNLEAVY - New York Post Online Edition: commentary
I was wondering if Brokeback was the only idea that Chase "borrowed" for this seasons' Sopranos, but it seems he filched from a Broadway Show as well.
Speaking of the Sopranos, it's good that Chase has decided to make each episode worse that it's predecessor in order to wean us off the show, one bad scene at a time. Horrid acting, stupendously stupid directing, and writing? Can't call it writing. Bad improv is better than this garbled nonsense. One gets the feeling that the "actors" were given their scripts out of sequence and are not just on the wrong page, but the wrong episode. Introducing new characters when the narrative thread of the old ones hasn't been played out means he's grown tired of it all, and doesn't care what the fans want.
Good. This season has been so bad EVERYONE will be hailing the show's departure.
