Flashbacks...
Caught actress Tonya Roberts on a TV commercial, and was pretty amazed that, at 50, she looked absolutely marvelous. The pic of her is from the 1984 flick Sheena, and the gal looks pretty much the same.
Then of course I got to thinking about the "original" Queen of the Jungle, Irish McCalla. Irish starred in the 1954-'56'ish TV version of Sheena, and all I can really recall was the fact that every male in my family, no, the neighborhood, was mesmerized. Ms McCalla, a top Vargas model, stood 6' 1", and at the age of 18 was 39½-18-37...ballooning to 391/2-24-36 for her Sheena fitting.
I CAN recall that she seemed really sweet, had a swell smile, and wore cool leopard-skins.
