De-Volving The Glock

In .45 caliber, and of course a Springfield. "Safety" features notwithstanding, the bore axis is much higher, the trigger reset much slower, and the looks rival High-Point for absolutely ugly. Not that there's anything wrong with Springfields for those among us with little hands.

The innards are more complicated, and if a simple spring or two gives up the ghost it's back to the factory. Not that I've developed a true hate for this gun and it's devotees, but the Glock became famous for the very features that Springfield has to shy away from least they become another S&W and fork over millions for patent infringements.
