Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi Dead

Al Qaeda in Iraq leader killed in United States air raid north of Baghdad

Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki said Al-Zarqawi was killed along with seven aides Wednesday evening in a remote area 30 miles northeast of Baghdad in the volatile province of Diyala, just east of the provincial capital of Baqouba, Al-Maliki said.

Loud applause broke out as Al-Maliki, flanked by U.S. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad and U.S. Gen. George Casey, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, told reporters at a news conference that "Al-Zarqawi was eliminated."

In London, British Prime Minister Tony Blair said al-Zarqawi's death "was very good news because a blow against Al Qaeda in Iraq was a blow against Al Qaeda everywhere."

Somewhere I might have a video of that scum sawing off a head, and it's what got me into blogging. Evil used to hide in society's shadow, but there it was, parading amongst free men as if it had some legitimacy, some genuine reason to exist. Liberals try and acclimate us to the degenerates, some of us don't abide, and guess what?

We got him. Just as we'll rid the world of one abomination after another until a Democrat prances into the Oval Office and puts the real world on hold for a time. It happens. That's life, and the brave stay ready to act when called upon.

To all of the men responsible for this cretins demise, Thanks. Never doubted you. And for all of the kneejerk backwater web logs who grow bored and generate essay upon essay concerning the "death" of one terrorist after another, it was STILL the mainstream media who first reported upon this, so let's not get all crazy and think we can do more than we're set up to accomplish. They dig, we bitch. Let Osama take another vacation and those without clue-one will soon be telling us that he's dead as well, because being the messenger isn't what these exhibitionists among us are all about.

Anyway, enough digressing. One down, lots more to go, and you WON'T hear of it from the PJ's or the Huffington's, or some esoteric Mil blog. By now I was sure that some hacker would have found a way to crack into the AP or some other such organization and scoop them on a regular basis, but they're all busy trying to score AOL passwords so tune in and we'll all be reporting the same news once the big boys let us.
