No, it's not a joke because you can't make this stuff up when it comes to a Clintonesque version of reality. Here's some of what she said:
"The administration's refrain has been, "Trust us,"' said Clinton. "That's unacceptable. Their track record doesn't warrant our trust. ... Unchecked mass surveillance without judicial review may sometimes be legal but it is dangerous. Every president should save those powers for limited critical situations."
She was not talking about her husbands lies, but the current Administration's hankering for wanting to know what the enemy is up to, and in her "mind", this is unacceptable because President's should only use their powers for limited critical situations.
Like when he's accused of raping women or having sex in the Oval Office, perhaps?
What this all boils down to is her preparing for the 2008 run so it's batten down the hatches time and begin whining about privacy. This way, when someone brings up one of her nefarious schemes of way back when, she can look to her constituency and cry that her privacy is once again being invaded.
The shame of the matter is we have no words to describe a woman such as this, for champion-level villains, thieves, and scoundrals have heretofore been men.
I suppose that RodHam will suffice, as the name does conjure visions of a dumpy, unattractive criminal bearing an ego the size of Alaska and the morals of a ambulance chaser.
