A Muslim soldier from Texas who joined the U.S. Army last year now wants to leave the military, claiming he is a conscientious objector whose devotion to Islam has suffered since he took an oath to defend the United States against all enemies.
Pfc. Naser Abdo, a 20-year-old infantryman assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky., filed for conscientious objector status in June because his faith and the military simply don't mix, he told FoxNews.com. The Army has deferred his scheduled deployment to Afghanistan.
Well then. If he did get stationed in Afghanistan and was captured, what the taliban would do to such a traitor is not something a squeamish person should contemplate. Then again, they don't exactly throw block parties for anyone unfortunate enough to fall into their hands, but such is the life of an armed forces member.
Truth be told, I wouldn't want the guy covering my back.

He seems to have forgotten that America didn't declare war on Islam, but Islam declared war on America. And no, I wouldn't want the enemy covering my back either.
Interestingly enough, back when Fred Flintstone was still kicking there were moslems in every branch of the military and in over a quarter century I never heard of one going rogue. Or refusing to accept a duty station.
What on earth are we doing, allowing people like that in the military in the first place? >:o
Let me see...ah yes...DIVERSITY
