Chattanooga TSA pats down a screaming toddler

You might think a 3-year-old would whiz through security. A child is non-threatening, wears slip-on shoes, and carries little luggage.

Not the case for Mandy Simon who was passing through security with her dad at the airport in Chattanooga, Tenn.

A TSA employee gave Mandy the pat down and she started screaming and kicking her legs. Her dad, Steve, happens to be a TV reporter and caught 17 seconds of the ordeal on his cell phone (watch below).
Why was Mandy searched in the first place? She started crying when she was asked to put her teddy bear through the X-ray machine. This made it difficult for her to walk calmly through the metal detector and she set the machine off twice, which meant she "must be hand-searched."

Somewhere around 99% of the TSA animals masquerading as public employees are of the worst physical and mentally conditioned "humans" possible. Yeah. Ugly and Dumb. One of the reasons we've cut back drastically on our commercial flying.

I really cannot understand how that father stood there and watched his child be molested by an ape with a badge. As a casual observer I honestly don't know if I could stand there and see a child harmed like that. For me, going to jail for an evening or two isn't anywhere near as dreadful as watching a chimp defile a child.

Will Texas Pull The Trigger On Open-Carry?

Recent Supreme Court decisions have reaffirmed that the Second Amendment is a personal right.

But according to one group, there’s still one hurdle to clear before that right is fully enjoyed.

The right to keep and bear arms is pretty well understood by most of us, but there is one area that is not.
And it’s a kind of arms bearing that we all know well…thanks to Hollywood.

That’s right…we’ve seen it in a thousand movies. The long walk, the holstered guns…the ultimate confrontation…

But that’s the movies, right? You couldn’t possibly carry that way in real life, right?

Now, in Texas, there a couple of ways you can carry a pistol. You can now carry it in your car. Or, if you have a license, you can carry it concealed on your person. But what if you could carry it out in the open?

John Pierce founded OpenCarry.org, and from him we found out an interesting and little known fact…

There are 43 of the 50 states where open carry is permissible in one form or another.

That’s right, in all but 7 states in the union, you can walk down the street, go into a coffee shop, go shopping all while wearing a gun on your hip. Interestingly, the 7 states that that expressly forbid it, are mostly in the South.

Of course in the real west, there were laws against open carrying in most Texas cities, but Pierce says that’s not the intent of the Constitution.

Pierce says that Governor Rick Perry has promised to sign an open carry bill if it lands on his desk.

He says though that although some legislators are friendly to the idea, no one has stepped forward to propose the bill."

We here in the Gunshine State are awaiting the settling in of the newly elected political folk before renewing the push for open carry. And by the by, the 43 out of 50 states that DO "allow" the sight of a handgun in full frontal view of God and everybody, well, a lot of them have "when-hunting" caveats attached.

I hit the trail and can pretty much wear whatever I wanna as long as I'm after something in-season.

Wild hogs are always in season in Florida.

Deadly force law hasn't changed the Florida landscape

When Florida's so-called* "stand-your-ground law" took effect in 2005, a well-known anti-gun organization started issuing scary warnings to tourists.

The Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence advised Florida's visitors to avoid arguments with the locals, lest they be gunned down by a populace now free to pull the trigger whenever anyone made them feel nervous.

"If someone appears to be angry with you, maintain to the best of your ability a positive attitude and do not shout or make threatening gestures," the Brady bunch advised.
Good advice anywhere, as I said at the time. Wear sunscreen during outdoor activities, too. But I saw no reason to think that new law would create a Wild West atmosphere anywhere in the Sunshine State that didn't already have one.

The law says a person not engaged in a crime who is attacked in a place he has a right to be "has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony."

There was no spike in murders disguised as self-defense that year, but statistics since then can be debated. Some measures do show a significant increase in shootings labeled self-defense. And yet, I have not heard of one that struck me as a case where a shooter would and should have been sent to prison under the old law, but had charges dismissed or never filed thanks to the new one."

Normally, whenever a writer invokes the wishy-washy "so-called"*, I await a disclaimer, but in this instance it seems like nothing more than a case of bad writing.

I too check the stats for an example of someone getting away with what the Brady Panty-Bunch would call murder, but haven't seen hide nor hair of one to date. When the law became law all the local talk revolved around folks being extra careful so as not to give the Panty-Bunchers something to squawk about, and that's pretty much what most of us envisioned.

Men of good will not taking advantage of anything they are not legally entitled to.

Charlie Rangel Stars In Tuesday-Toons

Giants ( ?) Versus Cowgirls Under The Lights...

Making the rounds is the tale of a temporary power failure during a Midgets-Cowgirls football extravaganza....

"Before the juice was completely lost, Fox rolled out its unofficial official, Mike Pereira, to explain how the NFL deals with power loss. He only talked procedural matters, not fan safety. When the lights were totally gonzo, Fox switched to Rams-49ers.

When power was restored, Buck reported that a "generator blew outside the stadium." Troy Aikman indicated some players had panicked. "They didn't know what was going on nor did anyone else," Aikman said. "But they hit the ground. A number of those guys did."
There was no fear in the voices of Aikman/Buck - only confusion. They were fishing in unchartered waters, but could've raised some points/questions.

Why would officials allow even one play to commence without proper lighting? Isn't this the state-of-the art NFL where everything - supposedly - is done first class?

If either Buck or Aikman didn't want to dump on the league, or Giants brass, he could've put Pereira, a former NFL suit, on the spot and actually asked him a tough question. Like what does the NFL think about leaving 82,500 fans in the dark? Isn't there a safety issue to consider?
Or how exactly could this electric funk be taking place in a new NFL palace, home of two teams? Buck/Aikman, who have praised the stadium, should have questioned how this technological marvel could falter on delivering a basic - light?

Aikman's report of sideline fright suggested no one got a message to the players. Why not? And what about fans? Those running the stadium are prepared for emergencies, especially post 9/11, right? Fox never reported that during the blackout, fire alarms sounded. Also, an announcement came over the PA system telling fans to remain in their seats and to stay tuned for evacuation instructions, if necessary.

When power was restored, Fox's sideline reporter Pam Oliver did say that when the lights went off there was "organized chaos." She said it was "extremely scary." Then Oliver offered the best line of the telecast. "The explanation," she said, "is there is no explanation."

Yet another assemblage of clowns that like to refer to themselves "warriors". "Sissies", however, is far more appropriate. ALWAYS be wary of geeks so insecure as to label themselves as something they'd never in a million years earn. At least the girl has an excuse.

How Far The Mighty (Mites) Have Fallen...

...But if your name happens to be Soetoro, ya ain't hit bottom yet, me bucko

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - If President Barack Obama is not yet convinced that his international star power has faded, his next round of transatlantic summitry should clear up any lingering doubts.

Coming off a marathon Asia trip where Obama often found himself rebuffed by fellow world leaders, he will head to Europe this week where the agenda will be clouded by a growing divide over economic strategy and a sense of neglect among traditional U.S. allies.

The Asians thought he was too dense for words, and the Euro trash can't wait to get their hands on the man who was supposed to bring America and the world closer together but instead has shown himself to be nothing more than a script-reading idiot of unimagined proportions.

Love it.

New Castle councilman calls cops on boys' cupcake sale

NEW CASTLE — When Andrew DeMarchis and Kevin Graff, two 13-year-olds from Chappaqua's Seven Bridges Middle School, set up shop at Gedney Park on a fall weekend last month, they were expecting a tidy profit.

Instead, the two wannabe entrepreneurs selling cupcakes, cookies, brownies and Rice Krispie treats baked by them for $1 apiece got a taste of cold, hard bureaucracy.
New Castle Councilman Michael Wolfensohn came upon the sale and called the cops on the kids for operating without a license.
The boys' parents are incensed and can't believe a Town Board member would handle the situation that way.
"I am shocked and sad for the boys. It was such a great idea, and they worked hard at it," said Laura Graff, Kevin's mother. "But then some Town Board member decided to get on his high horse and wreck their dreams."

Pictured: Get a load of the fat fuck who probably busted the kids because they wouldn't give his obese ass a discount.

Kansas City police initiate firefight with backfiring van...

"Two Kansas City police officers who thought they were being shot at from inside a van returned fire Thursday night.

Only later did police realize that the van was actually backfiring and the man inside was not armed. He was not injured by the shots fired by police.

Windows of the police car were apparently shot out by the officers as they exited the patrol car."

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Could have been worse. They could have tried Tasering the thing. Been a sight to see, eh? Van rolling down the street with alla them little needles and wires hanging from every square inch.

Texas Homeowner Blasts Beaner

Residents living along the 1300 block of Belmont Drive in San Marcos were stunned to learn that a teenager was shot multiple times in an apparent home invasion on their quiet street.
“I'm just shocked that there would be that type of criminal and crime going on in this neighborhood and in San Marcos,” Evelyn Johnson said.

The suspected intruder was 19 year old Elijah Espinoza. Commander Chase Stapp with the San Marcos Police Department says Espinoza was shot by a resident as he tried to enter the back door of the home around 3 a.m. Sunday.

“We don't know of any connection between the suspect and that home,” said Commander Chase Stapp.
The shooting could fall under the Castle Law -- which gives people the right to use whatever means necessary to protect themselves and their property without fear of civil liability.

“There is certainly a good chance that this is a self defense case,” said Stapp.

“I'm just shocked that there would be that type of criminal and crime going on in this neighborhood and in San Marcos,” Evelyn Johnson said.

Miz Johnson? May I call you Evelyn?  Were I you, me dear, I'd immediately put pen to paper in formally divorcing myself from parents that raised so incalculably dumbass a child.

And yep' Texas has this new fangled Castle Law that defends the good guys and pisses the cops off to no end because they are ALL of them graded upon how many times they arrest someone, ANYONE, and standing idly by while an innocent homeowner has done nothing wrong just boils them to no end.

Arizona man stabs 2 in self-defense

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD)- One man is dead following a fight at a midtown convenience store Saturday night.
It happened just before 9 p.m. at Circle K, located in the 3100 block of East Speedway Boulevard, said Sgt. Diana Lopez, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
Two men, identified as Cesar Rios Gonzalez, 19, and Jesus Preciado, 21, approached another man just north of the store and began to assault him, Lopez said. The 26-year-old victim was able to get away and went inside the Circle K.
Gonzalez and Preciado followed him inside and assaulted him again, Lopez said. The victim fought back and stabbed both suspects.
Gonzalez was taken to University Medical Center, where he died several hours later, Lopez said.

Preciado fled the scene, Lopez said. Police located him a short time later and he was taken to the hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Upon release from the hospital, Preciado was booked into the Pima County Jail and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with serious injury, Lopez said.
The victim suffered serious injuries during the fight and was also taken to the hospital, Lopez said. He is expected to recover.

At this time it appears that the victim will not face any charges because he stabbed both of the suspects in self-defense, Lopez said."

Over 3500 people are killed by cutlery every year, and disregard those who, as most grifters are known to do, screech loudly and to all comers that YOU CAN'T DEFEND YOURSELF with a knife unless first spending 8 to 10 years studying under some Yoda-inspired blademaster, OR, you'll only hurt YOURSELF and what if the weapon is taken away from you?

Sound familiar?

It should. Most people espousing such abject nonsense are law enforcement connected, somehow, some way, and men of good will ALL know what law enforcement thinks about "civilians" and deadly weapons.

Newark: Gunmen herd 40 people, including kids, into storeroom during robbery of Chuck E. Cheese restaurant

Three men armed with handguns robbed a busy Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant on Mowry School Road Saturday night.
Police began receiving 911 calls about the incident at 9:58 p.m., said Newark Police Sgt. Manuel Deserpa.

After entering the building, the three men brandished their weapons and herded 40 employees and customers, including children, into a storeroom.

Eleven Newark police officers and some Fremont officers responded but the robbers left prior to their arrival. A nearby Chevys Restaurant was placed on lock-down until the area was secure.
Deserpa said there were no suspect descriptions because the men covered up their faces.

"Our detective division will be following up on this," he said.

From this and other reports on the story, it appears that the local constabulary took its usual sweet ass time in getting to the party. In our larger metropolitan areas, whenever citizens in the know want fast service they've learned to ALWAYS tell 911-operators that they think they saw a cop getting hurt somewhere at the scene.

Its a good thing to remember should you ever find yourself, for whatever unimaginable reason, unarmed and incapable of protecting your own family.

And about damned time wasn't it? 12 and 1 at the Gainesville insane asylum is light years better than a dozen to zip.

Now we know for sure what was ailing Urban last year. Realizing that the players...noticeably Tebow...exiting to greener professional pastures where they no longer had to hide the fact that they were rolling in dough, meant Urban was going to have to somehow COACH inferior athletes for the team to have any chance of winning, and BAM. The old ticker started to give up the ghost. Actually, his heart is fine. The SPINE was where Mr. Myers was in need of re-fortification.

Cutlery Corner...The Embarassment Continues...

Focusing upon not only the scam-fest for Jim Frost's birthday bash...an unseen knife for $22 PLUS shipping charges that'd make a Brooklyn bookie weep, but the DEER HEAD DEUL..

Now what, you ask, is a DEER HEAD DEUL? A DEER HEAD DEUL is nothing less than a testament to the Tennessee education system that can't even teach young'uns to spell the word DUEL.

Sorry but they're ringing those phones in the background again so I'm changing channels.

Back for an observation; I've never seen Todd Boone beg so much. Must mean the Jim Frost Birthday Present Extravaganza isn't selling.

Works something like this; whenever they get to a particular product that is too low in quantity to focus on, Boone pushes his producer to move on. Last thing they want, last thing they NEED, is for potential customers calling and wasting the overworked operator's time by asking for knives that are no longer available.

Whenever they OVER-focus on a product, bet your bottom dollar it isn't selling for squat. Common sense. No need to plead for folks to buy something that is selling itself. This could be a good sign. Means people are cluing in on the scam. Let the bastards beg for their supper. Let them sell their shoddy pieces of crap to someone else; someone who doesn't care if a seriously dangerous tool made as cheaply as possible does what it was designed to do...fall apart...and in the process takes off a finger or slices an artery just so James A. Frost can rake in the big bucks.Let someone else buy the Frost garbage, the sort of someone else who doesn't mind that Frost features children's knives that are bee-ilt (built) as shoddily as their grownup counterparts. Nothing worse than a man who'd endanger the well being of a loved one, so let them play the Frost game and slowly but surely erase such ignorant and unworthy genes from the pool.

One Of The Latest Scams Brought To You By The OLD CONGRESS..

The Renewable Electricity Standard

  • RES will reduce U.S. dependence on foreign oil. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), in 2008, the U.S. generated only 1.1% of its electricity from oil, generally on-site at refineries, etc. RES will do little to reduce U.S. oil dependency.
  • Solar and wind need the same subsidies as oil. Countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, and China sell gasoline to their citizens at below-market prices, thereby subsidizing it. The U.S. does not. It taxes gasoline and other oil products. U.S. energy policies should not be determined by other countries.
  • Solar and wind need tax and regulatory subsidies as oil did. The Rockefellers and others did not build the oil industry with subsidies and protective tariffs. They built it by offering a superior product at an affordable price. Kerosene was far superior to candles and less expensive than whale oil. Tax breaks did not come until the U.S. implemented high taxes to pay for WWI, which it needed oil to win.
  • Wind power will reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The wind industry has failed to produce a single compelling study based on experience to support the claim. If it had one, it would flaunt it.
  • Megawatt capacity compares the capability of solar and wind with other sources. Megawatt nameplate capacity is grossly misleading. All sources of electricity need some downtime for maintenance. In the U.S., nuclear produces over 90% of megawatt capacity, base load coal exceeds 70%. Operators control the downtime for nuclear and coal. However, nature controls most of the downtime for solar and wind. The frequently cited figure for wind is usually 30% of megawatt capacity, but that is also misleading. The most useful statistic is dispatchable capacity -- what the producer can guarantee for, say, New York City at 4 pm on August 7. For nuclear and coal, it is almost 100%. For wind it is less than 10% and may approach zero! There are few facts available for solar.
  • Once built, electricity from wind and solar are low-cost. Wind and solar power are highly unreliable. To prevent blackouts, wind and solar require costly backup that must be immediately available, which is expensive and inefficient. They are a waste of resources.
  • Dependability of wind and solar can be raised by building more and with the smart grid. Germany thought so, but experience shows the reverse. Germany discovered that the greater the number of wind turbines, and solar panels, the more susceptible the grid system is to failure. Thus, to prevent blackouts, the greater the use of wind and solar, the greater is the need for backup.
  • RES will provide high-paying green jobs. If jobs are the issue, it is better to build pyramids in the desert. At least once the construction stops, we will not saddle our children and grandchildren with high utility bills.
  • We need RES to win the race with China in these new forms of energy. Solar and wind have been used for thousands of years and still remain unreliable. China is in a totally different race -- a race to build the greatest possible capacity of affordable, dependable electricity for the benefit of its citizens. A brief examination of what China is actually building, as compared to what is "planned" or what RES promoters claim, demonstrates China's goal:
  • Today, China is constructing 24 nuclear power plants -- the U.S., only one.
  • In 2008, China added 20.1 GWe of hydro capacity -- the U.S., zero GWe.
  • In 2008, China added 65.8 GWe of coal-fired capacity (net increase, while closing 26 GWe of old, inefficient coal-fired capacity) -- the U.S., 0.7 GWe.
  • In 2008, China added 4.7 GWe of wind -- the U.S., 8.5 GWe (nameplate) of wind.

The one U.S. bright spot not reflected in the above statistics is the falling prices of natural gas, which is now competitive in many places with coal for generation of electricity. This change came from new techniques for extraction of gas from deeply buried dense shale thanks to innovative private enterprise, not government mandates or subsidies.

When one looks at facts rather than "plans," clearly, the U.S. is winning the wind race in which China is not even running. China is winning the race for affordable, dependable electricity for the prosperity of its citizens -- a race the federal government refuses to recognize.

Are the leaders of Communist China more concerned for the future of Chinese citizens, their children, and their grandchildren than the leaders of the 111th Congress are concerned for Americans, their children, and their grandchildren?

A vote for RES will tell!"
Read it all here. Comment if you'd like of course. Me, I cannot. American Thinkers apparently do not include career Marines, as we appear to be banned for life, sniff, never to add to the discourse. Sniff.

A Very Special Happy Birthday Edition Of Cutlery Corner

Yesterday was Jim Frost's birthday, so of course he's ripping you off even more than usual.

Sight unseen, guaranteed though to be the bestest deal they've ever not shown, you can bah (buy) a very very very special nahff (knife) for $22, or save yourseff (yourself) some monies and git (get) 5 for only $110. Don't bother to do the math: 5 X 22 = 110, but don't tell anyone at Cutlery Corner because they've been so brainwashed as to believe in the newest math of all. Grifter-style multi-plah-cay-shee-un.

To their credit though, Mr. Todd Boone only stole one trademarked item, and actually explained that Solingen steel was sent FROM Germany, and not that the nahff itself was made there. He then went and lied his ass off that the steel was sent "Here", but since Frost has no manufacturing facilities ANYWHERES, in actuality the steel was sent to China via oil credits...that's how the Chinamen like doing business with the Krauts...and them same Chinamen slapped together a dollar-three-eighty nahff and its yours fer only $22, PLUS of course the obscene shipping.

But of all of the above, the single most annoying feature...yes, there IS something more annoying than Ms. Sheila Travis trying to speak English while hiding her stutter...and that was their marvelous idea to all but silence Mr. Boone by playing the most irritating phone ringers imaginable right over his stab at the national tongue. Took old Todd by sur-praze, too. So he had to shout even louder than usual to be heard over the racket.

When the shift changed and senile old Tommy Boy O'Dell came in dragging along potato-nose Travis, the ringing went deep into the background. Still there, still annoying, still stupid, still above all else Frosted Flakes Cutlery, but nowhere near as loud as when poor old Todd was being forced to scream himself into oblivion.

Happy Birthday, Jim. You unbelievably unique even-amongst-conmen douchebag.
