LOS ANGELES — "Richard Pryor, the groundbreaking comedian whose profanely personal insights into race relations and modern life made him one of Hollywood's biggest stars, died of a heart attack Saturday. He was 65."
For Richard, it was all in the presentation. Anyone else saying his words would have been looked upon as a racist idiot, but Richard had the knack of taking the sting out of the message, and influenced virtually every black comic alive today.
RIP, Richard. Save us a seat in the first row.
