Last week was a lucky as hell 14-2, but this Sunday brings some tough calls, so we'll see.
Washington should have little difficulty in taking Arizona, at Arizona. A mediocre team versus a bad team means little fan excitement outside of local pride, but at least Washington has a chance to make the playoffs and all Arizona can hope for is a good draft pick.
New England sure does miss all of those coaches that made Bashful Bill look like a genius all this time, but I can't see the Pats falling to Buffalo, even at Buffalo.
Carolina is at home against Tampa Bay and were it the other way around I'd be looking for the Bucs to squeek out a win but not on the road against arguably the better team.
Cincinnati at Cleveland shouldn't even be close. Go with the Bengals as the next best thing to a sure thing you might find today.
Dallas is at home versus the slightly better KC Chiefs and Parcells isn't letting this one get away from him as the Cowboys look to bounce back from last weeks dismal effort against the Giants.
Denver is a very good football team and Baltimore is awful. Nuff said.
Green Bay is home against Detroit, and while the Lions are the better team they are not road warriors. Take the Pack.
Indianapolis is due, overdue for a letdown and were it any other good team they were visiting I'd say that this was the week for it, but Jacksonville only plays 2 quarters of real football on any given Sunday so look for the Colts to come out swinging and keep the Jags on their heels all afternoon.
Minnesota is on a roll having won 5 straight, and while they aren't that good neither is the St. Louis defense. Look for the Vikings to eke out a road win here.
Oakland will just be going through the motions against the Jets, but at least they have motions. A bad team versus a dreadful one, so take the Raiders.
NY Giants can stay in first with a win over Philadelphia, and even though it's in Philly and young quarterbacks can meltdown at any given moment I'm looking for the Giant defense to take this one into the win column.
Chicago believes in itself and Pittsburgh is beat up. The Bears in a close one.
San Diego has an offense that won't quit and Miami has one that rarely shows up. At San Diego so this one has the earmarks of a blowout.
Seattle is 10-2, San Francisco is 2-10. No upset this week for the winless on the road 49'ers and look for the Seahawks to dominate.
Tennessee is at home and the Oilers are desperately holding out for the #1 pick so they can't afford to win with the Jets nipping at their heels.
Monday Night Football:
Atlanta is better on the road then they are at home, but it's the Saints that are visiting. Another ratings dud and a ho hum Falcons win.
UPDATE:
We went 12-4 including the Monday Night game, so shear luck still smiles upon us. 46-16 on the season isn't too shabby but nothing to write home about when not using the spread.
