All The News That Fits We Print

"As became clear from the rather large and diverse crowd here, the blogosphere has become for the left what talk radio has been for the right: a way of organizing and communicating to supporters. Blogging is nowhere near the force among Republicans as it is among Democrats, and talk radio is a much more effective tool for Republicans."

So sayeth the tooth fairy for the NY Times, Adam Nagourney, in his coverage of the disappointing Las Vegas Kos-Fest that drew only 1000 or so people, but was hailed as a victory because 1000 dumocrats in one place without their nannies simply MUST be something of a world record.

No one really expects the Times to have a clue, but since 8 of the top 10 blogs on the net are rightwing oriented you'd at least think they'd have heard the news by now and would refrain from making themselves look any dumber than they already are. Whether it's blogging OR talk-radio, the left pulls tail-end Charlie duty with regards to followers, and the only way to get around this simple FACT is to lie about it. You know, like the liberal rags do about pretty much anything they don't happen to agree with.

1000 in attendance. Las Vegas. By MISTAKE you'd think Moulitas would draw a better crowd in THAT town. Not that numbers reflect reality (The Daily Kos is zero for 20-something regarding candidates backed versus candidates elected so even if he DOES rank in the top-10 his followers aren't putting their votes where their click is)), but when you're using them as the sole prerequisite to make a case then how in ther name of all thats holy can the leftwing loon-shows claim victory when they lag so far behind?

Easy. They've got the yellowstream media behind them and all the news that fits, they'll print.
