Hi-Point Chrono Results

Crazy Jay paid $150 out the door for a slightly used Hi-Point .40 caliber carbine, and after fixing yet another chronograph...that he previously shot to pieces...sent the following data:

Corban 135 grains: 1997 fps avrage.
Wicnhester 180 gram Rangers: 1604 fps
DoubleTap 200 grains Goldots: 1687 fps
Remington 165 grains Golden Sabers: 1807 fps

Please note that the spelling is all his, and that the above weapon has seen approximately 4K rounds down the barrel with nary a glitch. I'm trying to get him to clock some Federal HST's as well as measure the rounds for expansion, as I thought it'd be interesting to see what they balloon to from a barrel 13.5 inches longer than his G-23. My suspicion is some sort of fragmentation if they achieve 1800 fps or thereabouts, and will report back if and when he accomplishes this task.
