2nd generation Glock-21 that the nutjob gun dealer say's is worth nearly $500, and a NIB 3rd generation G-21 that's going for $400 on Gunbroker. And even when you show these guys the error of their ways, they insult your intelligence by retorting something along the lines of "Well, sure, but my gun you can touch and feel and with an internet gun you don't know WHAT you're getting..."
I've said it before and it bears repeating. One of my fascinations with Glock derives from it's customer service. Send them a shot-out old gun and they'll tune the thing back to life, for free. And pay the postage. That's why one must never listen to gun store owners, nor believe any bloody thing they say.
By the way, in my quest for a new G-21 I've considered getting one from GSSF. I do like buying from local merchants, but a NIB Glock for less than $500 out the door is getting harder and harder to turn down. There's another place I intend stopping by at, Alachua Pawn & Jewelry. Yeah, yeah, sounds sleezy as all hells but they do business with Davidson's and have some of the lowest prices anywhere for pretty much any gun you could want. And a friend told me their used selection is fairly priced so we'll see. Fairly priced and Gun Shop do NOT go hand in hand...
