Home invasion suspect killed...UPDATE

Second suspect critically injured in Brunswick incident

BRUNSWICK, Ga. - "One apparent robber was killed and another critically injured after they were shot in a Brunswick home invasion early Monday morning.

The two men kicked in the front door of the home at 601 Wolfe St., where about a dozen people were hanging out around 1:30 a.m., Sgt. Kevin Jones said.

Witnesses said the two men both drew their guns, but one of the men at the house pulled out his handgun and started firing, Jones said. One of the intruders was shot in the side and pronounced dead at the home. The other was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Police did not release any names but said the hospitalized man is 18 years old. Jones said he was in critical condition as of Monday morning, but the hospital could not provide any further update.

The people in the south Brunswick home were in their late teens and 20s, Jones said. The man who shot the suspects does not live at the house and is not expected to be criminally charged in the shootings, Jones said."

Some nice shooting there. Two men drew down on him, he opens fire and kills one, the other is fighting for his life. If I was an accredited journalist perhaps the newspaper and/or the police would answer my inquiries as to the make, caliber, and ammunitions used, but I'm not holding my breath. All that can be deduced from the provided information is that the shooter fired twice and put two men down. On the ground. With a puny little weak ass handgun no less. That the ninja-makers claim is only possible after spending megabucks at their training facilities. Day in and day out we see the same stories. Motivated man sucks in his gut and lets loose hell and damnation upon his enemies with great force and rapidity. Thats simply got to piss off certain ONLY ONES who prance about with shiny tin all a'gleam and can't hit the broadside of a barn from the inside.

Could be the reason why they want to take our guns away. Barrel envy. And the fact that the size of the fight in the man can be more important than carrying along tons of gear and stenciling SWAT all over anything that doesn't move fast enough to escape the paint can.

UPDATE PART

This link will flesh out the story somewhat with tidbits such as the following:

"When Hector showed up, (the robbers) walked him to the back room, too," Whitman said.

She said the two made Hector empty out his pockets and take off his shoes just like everybody else. What the two didn't realize was that Hector had a .45 caliber pistol tucked in the front of his jeans.

One of the attackers was in the kitchen area and the other in the front hallway when Hector began shooting.
It played out just like a scene from a movie, Whitman said.

"When the robber tried to rob (Hector), he emptied his pockets, then said, 'I don't know who you think you're robbing,'" she said Monday afternoon. "That's when he pulled out his gun and began shooting them."

Good for YOU, Hector. Never, ever, not in a million years listen to the surrender-first loons who'd make then keep you a victim.
