Robin Hood Eat Your Heart Out

Fred Bear Instinct Bow and Bow Package

All the maneuverability of a short, axle-to-axle length bow is combined with a generous brace height and a balanced feel, to make the Fred Bear Instinct a hunter-friendly bow that offers uncompromised performance. This high-energy arrow-burner's power and precision starts with patented, compression-molded Quad Limbs mounted in pivoting, vibration-dampening limb pockets. Add to that a dynamically balanced Perimeter Weighted Cam and you have a smooth-drawing, smooth-shooting bow capable of zipping arrows at 306 fps IBO. Plus, it's outfitted with factory-installed Sims® Vibration Dampeners for a dead-quiet release. The riser is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum for the optimal balance of lightweight and superior strength. The two-piece wood laminate grip is shaped for in-hand stability and comfort. The Instinct Ready-To-Shoot Package includes bow with factory installed Whisker Biscuit® Drop-Tine QS Camo Arrow Rest; Deluxe Shock Stop camo stabilizer with wrist strap; self-aligning peep sight; one-piece Six Shooter camo quiver; Foxfire Hunter Series three-pin fiber-optic sight, camo string loop; and Sims® String Leeches and LimbSavers®. Left- and right-hand available.

Uh huh. Now, I know that guns have come a long way from the days of black powder but archery takes the cake. Looks to me like some kind of assault-bow, and why any man would need a bow made out of aluminum is beyond me. Damn thing looks to me like it'd take down a small plane.
