Liberals And Their Much Vaunted Right-To-Privacy...

As long as it's THEIR privacy...

"Police have lost track of thousands of registered handguns because there's no system in place to keep tabs on the weapons of state pistol permit holders who die, The Journal News has found.

The guns are a symptom of a larger administrative black hole brought on by outdated records and reliance on an "honor system'' requiring families to turn in weapons on their own after a licensed gun owner has died.

"These laws were set up in the 1930s and we've accumulated more than 1.2 million records since then, with no real way of knowing how many are still valid,'' said Lt. Glenn Miner, a spokesman for the New York State Police. "Certainly there's a concern that some of these guns might end up in the hands of the wrong people.''

Forget the caterwauling...the newspaper goes on to provide links to lists of concealed weapon licensees. The same loons who scream whenever we listen in on what terrorists are saying, can't wait to divulge the names of people with expensive personal belongings. The headlines should just read STEAL YOUR GUNS FROM HERE and dispense with the pretense of such information being released for the public good.

They are absolutely despicable excuses for human beings.
