We Get Letters

"You never seem to mention consefvative talkshow hosts...do you listen to them...?"

Sometimes. Biggest problem I have is that they're lazy. A recent Sean Hannity interview of Mel Gibson sounded like amateur night at a small Middle School. Limbaugh is one of the few who can speak English with much clout, and Boortz seems to have, once upon a time at least, learned how to enunciate. Laura Ingraham? Can't listen to what passes for her voice longer than a minute or two. Nasal, high-pitched whining denotes sloppyness of the highest order, and it isn't as if these caterwaulers cannot afford speech lessons.

Not everyone hits a home run every day. Coulter has dull essays, O'Reilly garbles his way through his offerings at times, but the least the nail-on-a-chalkboard-types should do is learn how to speak SOMETHING akin to professional English. I'd be willing to wager than Ingraham suffers from a deviated septum, and would give her a pass if she'd find the time to get it corrected. Hannity can't help that he comes across like a 12 year-old because not everyone is born stentorian, but sweet mother of pearl could it hurt to "rain-in-Spain" it once in a while?

I simply have no affection for those who pay so little attention to detail.
