Trooper suspended, facing rape charges
"A state police trooper from Bellefonte was arrested Thursday and charged with raping, choking and biting a woman in May 2006 while off duty.
Trooper Richard S. Keener, 39, based at the Lamar barracks, was suspended without pay from the state police Thursday, the same day he was arraigned before District Judge Thomas Jordan and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
Keener's attorney, Joe Amendola, said the trooper's encounter with the woman was consensual and that he had been in a relationship with her for some time.
"He expects to be exonerated and establish his innocence," Amendola said."
But of course he does. Special people are somewhat different than the run of the mill criminal, in that they, well, are so very special, and once everyone recognizes this than all will be well.
I mean, come on now; it isn't as if the woman was raped, choked and bitten by some anonymous hoodlum in a dark alley somewhere. Cops have strenuous jobs and NEED a little kickass fun every now and again, and between you and me, we KNOW that when a woman is being raped, bitten and choked, she'll ALWAYS scream NO when she really means YES.
