Expansion
Photo wasn't taken by yours truly. Received via email showing expansion of two Federal 9 mm HST's...147 and 124 grains, with a Remington 124 grain Golden Saber to the far right.
All were shot through "wetpacks", aka sodden newspaper.
Nickel-sized holes from a 9 mm aren't anything to sneeze at, and I for one would like to see what some of the more popular modern rounds would do when fired from carbine-length barrels.
Newsprint is newsprint, gelatin is gelatin. Neither are flesh and all any of these tests show is what a particular bullet looks like after being recovered from various media.
