Monday's Bobby Abreu Look-See
August has been a decent month for Abreu. Since coming to the Yanks he is hitting .397, with a ridiculously gaudy on-base percentage of .500. His being sandwiched between professional hitters has seen his BA rise from .277 to .300 for the season, and while this stretch cannot last it'd be safe to say that he's in line for player of the month.
31 hits and 15 walks in 20 games is a pace no modern hitter can continue on, although his goal has forever been to win a batting title, but it's been fun watching someone with so marvelous a batting eye.
Oh yeah; the Yanks won their 4th in a row up in Beantown.
