Female "Experts" Say Mrs. Bill Clinton Criticized More Than Her Male Opponents

By EMILY FRIEDMAN

"From the color of her suit to her latest choice in hairstyle, Hillary Clinton and her appearance is a common topic of conversation, and according to political analysts, the female presidential candidate is scrutinized for her looks more so than her male counterparts.

"There's no doubt that [Clinton] is held to a different standard — the evaluation of appearance has always been traditionally different for female candidates," said Sarah Brewer, the associate director of the Women and Politics Institute at American University."

Sorry, Miss Friedman but that doesn't pass the smell test. Fact of the matter is it stinks. Perhaps you've disremembered back when Joe Biden had to drop out of a race because he was caught with hair transplants or the fact that John Edwards is universally referred to as the Breck Girl, or that John Kerry is still called Lurch. Or John McCain being called too old, or the simple fact that Hillary Clinton is not very attractive so but of course people are going to comment on her bad hair days.

And Sarah? If thats the best you can do sweetheart, in other words making things up as you go along, then perhaps its past time for you to back to the kitchen where reality isn't all that difficult a concept to master. Men are given horrendous nicknames and insulted to the 9's, dearie. But let a gal receive any notice other than praise and its the end of the world. Men expect to be treated far more roughly and the TRUE difference is we don't whine about it nearly as much.
