"How easy it is for us to justify the means to carry out a wrongful act — guns.
I can't help but wonder why anyone would express or even believe that our Founding Fathers would write into the Constitution a right for the means to allow wholesale killing.
A gun was created for just one thing. Killing.
A well armed militia is a body of people trained in the means to defend our land and government.
The right for a gun-happy bunch to run around with guns is inane."
THOMAS G. SYKES
Ever notice how the anti-gun letters always seem to become the ones selected for publication?
This indescribably dense scatterbrain has obviously never even imagined himself as being someone to protect home and hearth, and as far as his description of guns...
For over 40 years I've owned firearms. Can't begin to tell you how many. Nary a one of my privately owned guns has ever killed anyone.
Should I begin to worry that they'll turn on me any day now?
Thanks to The War on Guns for the link.
