Gun-Ban Conference Goes Out With A Whimper

I've been catching up on some old email, and finally got around to the NRA Alerts concerning the U.N. Gun-Banning conference in NYC. I really didn't expect much of anything to come out of this liberal dry-hump-fest, because there's no money to be made by banning guns, and the UN only hops right in when they're assured of a nice skim. That's the reason most of Africa is in the shits and always will be; poor people don't have anything of worth to steal.

"The UN Small Arms Conference ended Friday in deadlock with no formal conclusions or recommendations. In the final analysis, the complexity of the issue and the concerns of hunters, sport shooters and firearms owners world-wide prevailed. No recommendations on ammunition, civilian possession or future UN meetings, or for that matter any other subjects, were adopted. The failure of this five-year program to impact the legitimate firearms industry, and the 2nd Amendment rights of U.S. citizens was total. Anti-gun NGOs and liberal governments served notice they would not give up and would present all of their issues to the UN General Assembly this fall. Thanks should be given to NRA Board members Bob Barr, David Keene and Jim Gilmore for their crucial participation in this significant victory."

Kofi and his minions have made tons of ready cash laundering all sorts of monies into the illegal arms market, or let's put it this way; highly placed UN reps know of and have aided and abetted criminals and thugs the world over.

Banning certain weapons was just an attempt to cut out the middle men who are in competition with the UN, but since a lot of folks have their finger in this pie too many important toes would have been stomped on were the UN to come to any definitive conclusions on the proliferation of illegal firearms the world over.

When you think of the hundreds of millions of Soviet and Chinese arms floating around the black markets of the world, the profit margins begin to add up to something worth fighting over, and Kofi's people are criminals, yes, but not dumb.
