Police said Cooper was able to walk after being shot and the injury wasn't believed to be serious, but he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
After Cooper was shot, teammate and roommate Brandon Meriweather pulled a pistol from his pants pocket and fired three times at the person, who jumped a fence and fled with another person in a car, police said. It was unclear if the assailant was hit. Police said Meriweather used his gun legally."
Indeed. First off, it'd take a while for the police in many states to admit anything about the shooting, as opposed to the cut and dried Florida response to such matters. Gun is yours, someone takes a shot, then you shoot back. Done deal, case closed. If at a later date the SOB drops dead from his wounds, then neither his grieving Mommy or Daddy or Minister can sue the shooter for damages.
Simple is good, Texas. Maybe someday we can shame you into taking off those skirts and hanging with the guys again.
Don't think so? They huff and puff WAY too much so there's NO saving them?
