"An Italian magazine editor has defended his decision to publish a picture of Diana, Princess of Wales, as she lay in the wreckage of the car crash that claimed her life.
The publication of the photo has sparked outrage in the British tabloid press and prompted Princes William and Harry to speak out. The princes issued a statement strongly criticising the decision to use the image.
They said they were "deeply saddened that such a low has been reached" and appealed to the media to resist printing the image.
"Publishing such material causes great hurt to us, our father, our mother's family and all those who so loved and respected her."
Okay, so I'm a guy, and the gape-affair our gals had with this homely woman sort of pissed me off because whenever I'd travel abroad folks were of the impression that America was in love with Brit royalty. "Second thoughts from you Yanks about tossing the Poms out?"...if I heard it once I heard it a hundred times, but that's what happens when you listen to the press. Sort of like how the MSM is now pummeling us with the idea that the Euro's don't like America. That's abject bullshit and it amazes me how people feigning sophistication can believe such nonsense. Just another liberal way to make us feel bad about ourselves because the whole world thinks we're wrong on just about everything, but for chrissake stop believing such shit. Why is it that conservative bloggers won't lower their MSM-crap-radar when it comes to most things, when they understand that it's all a feint to draw attention from reality or to disseminate yet another liberal fantasy, but go along with it when it suits them. They enjoy being painted into a corner and are okay with this us-against-the-universe scenario? Stop playing the victim, the drama is unmanly, k?
I was always treated marvelously in non-moslem country's, and the people couldn't have been friendlier towards Americans, but suddenly it's time to recreate the world into a loons version of Neverland and so very many otherwise intelligent individuals WANT to fall for it.
Anyway, CHI Magazine published a picture of Diana. Bad taste. They'll sellout the newstands. Because it's what people enjoy looking at. And being the anti-Diana it was hard NOT to comment about Princess Dick Van Dyke. Fergie? Don't get me started. NONE of the distaff Brit royalty could succeed as drag queens because they're more masculine looking than their men.
Lots more. But, to show that I do have a softer side, the Queen isn't looking half bad for an old broad.
