Blast From The Recent Past...Clint Smith On The XD-45

"I like the archaic .45 round and I'm not going to change and there are lots of us out there. This new XD holds full caliber .45 ACP - not some runt mode version trying to be something it's not."

Clint Smith. Reviewing the Springfield XD-45, in which he shows how utterly clueless he is...as well as a mercenary dogturd of the first stripe...for claiming that the .45 GAP is a "runt" version of the caliber, when in fact it possesses the same ballistics.

May be found in the 2007 January/February issue of American Handgunner, the very last issue I purchased, or will ever purchase after having had quite enough thank you very much of their advertising disguised as product reviews. Whores are expected to do anything for a quick buck, but we should ask for more from those who make recommendations that can literally mean life and death to those unaware that many gun magazines could care less about their readership and will turn any trick to show a profit.

I do not own a Glock product chambered for the GAP round. There are those who want .45 power in a slimmer package, have found nirvana in the GAP, and even forgetting that they are brothers in arms, are undeserving of being the punchline of some inept "writer"'s snideass remark because Springfield is in direct competition with Glock and springs for boatloads of ad money in rags like Handgunner.
