Loaded gun found in Dennis Farina's carry-on luggage

"Law & Order" actor Dennis Farina was arrested at the Los Angeles airport Sunday for carrying a loaded gun in his luggage.

After airport security discovered the .22-caliber semi-automatic pistol, the 64-year-old actor, who played Det. Joe Fontana on the television series, told police he had forgotten the gun was in his carry-on bag.

"Farina was very apologetic and cooperative with officers," police said.

The actor was booked on one misdemeanor count of carrying a loaded firearm - until the charge was upgraded to a felony when police discovered the pistol was not registered.

Bail was initially set at $25,000."

This is what happens when you become accustomed to someone else doing your packing. Still and all a dumbass move, exacerbated by LA's infamous 'YOU WILL BE REGISTERED, SUBHUMAN'.
