The More The Dims Caterwaul Over The Roberts Nomination...

...the more I feel he is just the man for the job. This could be another scam however, similar to the one Ann Coulter has trotted out for public consumption.

Ann is as conservative as a person might be and still remain capable of feeding herself without assistance, and she hates the Roberts nomination because he isn't conservative enough. I don't buy it for a moment but it has to make the Dims stop and think that if Ann hates someone they must be okay.

Enter the latest sagacity from notable lovers of all things unconstitutional such as Senator's Pat Leahy and the Senior Dickem and Dunkem...strike that, Senator from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy:

"Unreliable" is how Senator Leahy describes the recent endorsement of Roberts by the ABA, when three years ago he declared that the American Bar Association was "the gold standard", the mother of ALL judicial endorsements. Guess it's only fool's-gold when you can't get a guy to show you his "Abortion For The Hobbyist" video tape collection, and to punish him for such transgression it's also okay to label his views "among the most radical", and add the clincher of his "intent on reversing decades of policies on civil rights, voting rights, women's rights, privacy and access to justice...deeply tinged with the ideology of the far-right wing of his party."

Ah, Senator, you missed mentioning sperm whales, dolphins and spotted owls, but that's cool because Dunkem Teddy picked up the slack by tossing in a few spittle-punctuated "beyond the fringe" epithets to cover your lack of inclusiveness regarding all things Dimbat.

So then, do they hate the man this much or is it merely a lovers kiss blown to placate their fanatical leftwing money machine?

Whatever. The smart money says Roberts will do just fine. Time to bring it on, and get the process over with.

It'll be a breath of fresh air to have someone who is at least marginally interested in the rights of the country's MAJORITY, as well as that little scrap of yellowing parchment the Dimbats so hate.
