Some Want Us To Start The Revolution Without Them...

It's reached the point whereby asking law enforcement to remove criminals from our streets is considered an extreme.

So sayeth John Podhoretz...

"As for dealing with the illegals already here, there's a sense in which this debate has been radicalized to such an extent that the Right won't be satisfied with a policy that does not explicitly advocate expulsion — all other policies being dubbed "amnesty" and therefore illegitimate — while the Left refuses to consider any policy other than special-treatment affirmative-action line-jumping legalization. In other words, there is nothing our politicians can do, absolutely nothing, to satisfy the activists — because neither extreme will be reflected in any kind of law or policy that emerges even from a Washington energized to deal with them."

J-Pod is a mainstream essayist who revels in maintaining a certain degree of fairness, for to do otherwise risks the loss of membership in the intelligentsia wing of the party. Calling for their heads...ALL of their heads... on a pike, is a job for bloggers. The new founding fathers. The old founding fathers had their share of, "Gee willickers, guys, come on now; King George is gonna get really really mad...", and the new ones, like the dudes I like to visit, have the likes of John Podhoretz.

The more things change...
