At Six Flags, the Don'ts of Dos
Employees Say Their Ethnic Hairstyles Are Challenged as 'Extreme,' and They've Complained to ACLU
Okay, so some blacks are complaining that THEIR uniforms shouldn't be held to ridicule, and make no mistake about it, the dreadlock-rapper-look IS a uniform. They look alike, they talk alike, some times they even walk alike, and you can lose your mind. Trying not to laugh at the dolts who feel that we should be subjected to their clown-like dress and mannerisms simply because they think it might have come from Africa, which is of course ludicrous to anyone who've ever actually BEEN THERE.
And signaling out creepy old Six Flags means someone associated with either the ACLU or one Scamming Reverend or another smells cold cash
Click the headline for the full Washington Post Story, I just noticed that Stop The ACLU is featuring the deal as well, and here's what a certain brainless twerp has to say on the matter:
"...Boyd said she learned of her supervisor's concerns one day after her mother dropped her off.
"They said I couldn't come into the park until my hair was braided down or cut," said Boyd, of Waldorf, who had worn locks the previous year. "My mom ended up braiding it for me in the parking lot."
Supervisors called her style "unprofessional and inappropriate," she said. So for the next two weeks she wore a wig. "Then they told me I couldn't wear the wig, which was kind of sandy-colored, because it wasn't my natural hair color."
Now she simply wears her locks, which she said is a reflection of her heritage and pride."
Hmm. Maybe I'll go down to the local partytime shop and get me a toga and a gladius to reflect my heritage and pride. I'm sure society would accept a 2000 year old costume as being suitable.
Right?
Ya know, maybe I'm just getting old, but it seems that as of late I've less and less sympathy for idiots. Would it be really really bad for me to say that I wish some folks were left where they were found and not brought here to cause such blithering nonsense?
