BREAKING NEWS ALERT

We interrupt this story with a bulletin: Messenger has just received word that President Bush's request for world leaders to officially condemn North Korea has resulted in France's formal surrender.

French President Jacques Chirac has asked to meet with representatives of North Korea to "Sign wherever they want me to..." in hopes that the peace process can begin without further madness. Late Wednesday evening, President Chirac learned that a small sailing vessel possibly bearing a French, or French-sounding name was in the Sea of Japan, somewhere in the general vicinity of where several North Korean rockets impacted the water. Facts remain sketchy, but it is believed that the occupants of the French, or French-sounding ship may have been frightened by the ordeal, and since this could lead to untold hours of intense therapy-sessions Chirac boldly announced that his entire nation would stand behind it's possible citizens, and for the sake of their mental well being surrender before the situation deteriorated any further.

More news on this startling development as it arrives.
